This property, its food, staff, service and accommodations were absolutely fabulous! We stayed in luxurious tent, with all the amenities you could imagine, including a private garden, full bath tub and gorgeous decor. The grounds and main building, lobby and dining room were decorated beautifully and all the staff, young women and men, were well-trained and very attentive.

There is no other hospitality chain in the world that comes even close to the Oberoi hospitality (and trust me I have used many properties both within the country and outside). I am a huge Oberoi fan and their most loyal advocate and will continue to be so. They pamper their guests. Its not about the room, its about how they make you feel - special!! Mr. Oberoi knows the business like no one else. Ranthambore was very very special for us. We went in October '16. Ratna and the staff Adil, Zeeshan, Chef Gurjit, Tanuja and Prateek worked hard yet unobtrusively to create some very very special memories for us. Ratna is an amazing asset that the property is lucky enough to have. Our teenage son is usually unhappy accompanying us since most hotels don't pay any attention to this age group. However, this is one property my son will happily go back to. They packed his day with so much personal attention and activity, he hardly spent any time in the room. Here I must mention Adil and Zeeshan, especially Adil who made sure that Aryan thoroughly enjoyed himself. Of course the property is lovely like all Oberoi properties but its the personal touch by the staff that makes it more so. Some stays are so special that parting is hard. This was one such stay. We left with a bag full of wonderful memories, warmth in our hearts and a tear in the eye.

We have just stayed at the Oberoi Vanyavilas and we have had the most wonderful time. We have never experienced such personal caring wonderful service. Every staff member was fantastic and Mr Oberoi you must be so proud of Ratna and Saikat who are a credit to you and the Oberoi hotels. They made our holiday in Ramthanborne so special and we will never forget it and treasure the memories forever. We will be coming back in January and bringing our family with us too. Thank you all so much.

We visited The Oberoi Vanyavilas from 14-17th April 2017. We were told that our breakfast was complimentary along with the room tariff, but yet were charged for it. Upon informing them that our breakfast was included in the room tariff they decided to charge only for the 3 children and told us that they had mistakenly charged us. For all the meals eaten at the restaurant they never present a bill at the end , due to which we weren't sure if some of the dishes we sent back as they were inedible , were charged in the end or not? I would strongly advise you not to book the jungle safari through the hotel as they are extremely expensive and they don't have trained drivers exclusively for the safari's. they send inexperienced guides and drivers with you and the trip is a total waste . There are many other options of booking a safari from outside the hotel and those are better . The hotel is very beautiful and the staff is courteous , especially their head chef Tijender Chauhan .But on clearing our bill at the end of the stay the staff refuses to show you any of the meals bills that you have been charged for whether they were ordered at the restaurant or from in-room dining. The entire experience is very odd and makes you wonder why the staff is eluding you . The main attraction which is the safari can be booked from anywhere and the drivers are far better trained . We met some of them and the hotel driver himself told us that the hotel just sends you untrained drivers so that you book more safari's. Even though the property is stunning and the rooms are beautiful the entire stay leaves you feeling cheated and upset . I would think twice before going back to the same hotel .

We stayed at Vanyavillas as part of my husband's birthday celebrations and we really felt that Aladdin's genie had landed here. From the minute we arrived, under a shower of rose petals, to the moment we left, (with one of the staff rushing to the car with some staples to sustain us on our long journey ahead) we were treated with incredible service. The whole experience is one of being pampered but in a quiet, unobtrusive way. We stayed for three nights and had some wonderful meals and an exceptional hour long session with Mahendra teaching us about Indian spices and later preparing us a wonderful dinner. We came hoping to see a tiger and we were fortunate in seeing a male stroll along the lake and then alongside our gypsy. So exciting. On our return the pet elephant Lakshmi was taking her morning stroll and we had the treat of feeding her copious amounts of apples, and giving her a huge hug. The hotel has a very intimate, personal feel maintained by the effort made by the manager, Ratna Malhotra and her staff to make you feel special. the rooms are beautifully decorated, with wonderfully comfortable beds and excellent sir conditioning. They are more like small bungalows than rooms, with a private garden and luxury loungers to relax in. The hotel is expensive but every penny spent will give you memories that will last for ever. We left, feeling as if we were leaving friends, not an hotel, and with a tear in my eye. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.
