The Oberoi Vanyavilas, Ranthambhore

Vanyavilas was our second stay at an Oberoi property following immediately after Amarvilas. One could not be faulted for having unrealistic expectations for any stay following Amarvilas or being disappointed in subsequent properties, but that most assuredly was not the case here. In fact, we loved Vanyavilas as much if not more than Amarvilas. The room - what can we say? Luxuriously comfortable, private, well appointed, every need thought of. We could call this home. We will certainly stay at Vanyavilas if ever visiting Ranthambhore again and will insist our friends stay there as well.

This is a stay like no other and an experience that offers memories of a lifetime. The staff make it happen and the crew is young and exceptionally well trained

This stunning property, minutes away from Ranthambore National Park, is a beautiful oasis with mature gardens, opulent tents and a staff second to none. Our tiger sightings were outstanding and I highly recommend booking an Oberoi naturalist to guide you. The chef, Takmeel, was one of the most talented and inventive chefs we experienced in India. Divine cuisine. We also had some great Indian spirits recommendations from Sandhya, the Food and Beverage Manager. The Oberoi service is flawless and the staff go out of their way to assist...printing boarding passes, delivering treasures from the gift shop, even buying an extra suitcase to haul our purchases home! Divyesh was kind to coordinate many special services for us. Our last night, an outdoor private dinner was arranged, with heat lamps to keep us warm. It goes without saying that an exceptional property is run by a flawless and gracious Manager, Ratna. She looks after everyone and is clearly beloved by her team. We can't wait to return.

From the moment you enter the property, you know you are somewhere special. Ratna and her team look after everyone so well. Housekeeping team is superb. The food from the restaurant, and the restaurant team, is excellent and they even pack you snacks for your safari trips. The spa was glorious , definitely do the five pillars of wellness. Our safaris were spectacular and we were so lucky to see a tiger very close up and also a leopard. The guide and driver were excellent, all organised by the hotel. Do not hesitate to book.

Oberoi Vanyavilas is an extraordinary property, but what truly sets it apart is its people. I’ve stayed at many of the world’s finest hotels, and the level of attentiveness, intuition, and genuine care here is unmatched. The GM, Ratna Malhotra, and her staff are extraordinary hoteliers! Every aspect of our trip from our arrival, to our son's most amazing 10th birthday ever, to ensuring that both our children were constantly excited and enthralled by their stay was taken care of to an excruciating level of detail! The setting is magical, the resort itself is stunning, but it is the staff and guides who elevate the experience into something truly world-class.
