Ranthambhore National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1957 and in 1974 it gained the protection of the Government of India’s Project Tiger conservation programme. Since then, the numbers of resident tigers have been increasing thanks to dedicated conservation efforts in the area. Ranthambhore National Park is also home to Ranthambhore Fort: a vast UNESCO World Heritage Site that overlooks the park and dates back one thousand years.

I’ve stayed at leading local and international hotels around the world and my stay at Oberoi would top them all. We arrived and we were met with luxury and tranquility. They made sure our safaris would go flawlessly. Our train was leaving at 11pm, long time after check out. Oberoi not only helped us freshen up in the spa, they also provided us lunch and dinner, and when they realized I fell sick they provided me a room to rest until the evening. All free of charge of course. This was an amazing stay - definitely stop by Oberoi Vanyavilās when you’re at Ranthambore. It’s not just a destination, it’s an unforgettable memory of high class hospitality.

Unusual opportunity to explore India's wildlife in a remarkably beautiful and comfortable setting, less a hotel than a luxury community.

Exceptional service and beautiful hotel. So close to national park and the team made the experience a forever memory. If your going to Ranthombore this is the place to stay.

We visited Oberoi Vanyavilas to celebrate our parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and a birthday, and it turned into one of those trips we’ll remember for a very long time. We were a group of seven, including two senior citizens and two children, and we booked the Family Suite (the Royal Tent) for the occasion. The stay was wonderful from start to finish. Ms. Ratna, the GM, personally oversaw all the requests we had shared in advance about the cleanliness and overall comfort of our accommodation. Her attention to detail is something the hospitality industry is slowly losing, and she truly makes her guests feel cared for. Rahul, second-in-command, was just as thoughtful and ensured that our parents were always comfortable and well looked after. His team also kept our kids happily engaged with play and creative sessions while we went for our second safari, which made things easier for us. The living room decorations for both the birthday and the anniversary were a beautiful, personal touch. The freshly plucked rose garlands kept for our parents’ anniversary celebration were a really sweet gesture. The food at the restaurant was consistently delicious, and Chef Takmeel met us every day to check how we preferred our meals. The cakes and the thalis prepared by him and his team were outstanding. In the dining hall, Sandhya was warm and helpful, and a special mention must go to Hitesh, who took the best care of us. He remembered every tiny detail we mentioned during meals He also made sure our celebrations felt truly special. He has a bright future ahead and genuinely understands hospitality. A memorable part of our mornings was Govind, playing the Ravanhatta during breakfast. His music created such a soulful atmosphere that we found ourselves lingering a little longer each day. Back at the tent, Brinderjit, Gautam, and Tina kept everything spotless with precision that never went unnoticed. And the stargazing session on the observation tower with Asif, coordinated by Dhruv, ended up being one of the best we’ve ever experienced. This was a vacation filled with warmth, comfort, and care - and of course, a few exciting tiger and sloth bear sightings. We hope to return soon to soak in the Oberoi hospitality all over again. If we must nitpick, the two things we would mention are: - It would be wonderful if the hotel could offer a dedicated in-room dining service, which would make stays even more comfortable for guests traveling with senior citizens and young children. - And though the spa experience was very good, the temperature of the room and the massage tables could be a little more optimal. Overall, though, these were minor points in what was otherwise a truly memorable stay.

We had wonderful experience at Oberoi Vanyavilas. Ratna Malhotra and her team was excellent. I had allergy restriction and Chef Veeram, Chef Atharva and Chef Tejas took excellent care of me and also cooked special food for my family.
