My husband I came to stay at the hotel. Check in had issues, the sheets were stained, the concierge was "out" for the day, but all of this was overlooked by us! And then we asked a simple question -- could we have late check out. No. Okay, could we have somewhere, any where, to be able to change in the afternoon before our event (the spa bathroom, the golf course locker room, a spare room, anything). No. The spa locker room? Completely full. But what if I wanted a treatment? Oh then they said it wouldn't be too full. It's too bad that we went from "we should bring our family back here for vacation" to "this is obviously a hotel where the focus is on wedding/events and not guests so we shouldn't come again"

Upon arrival there was a cigar on our balcony and papers of the cigar inside the room, my 3 year old found that so it was upsetting when they almost picked it up before I saw it and told them not to. First in room dining experience was at night and was 20 minutes beyond the time they said "at the latest" so I called and they said it will be up soon, no apology and nothing to compensate for the eventual 40 minutes beyond the time. It was only a bottle of wine and a cheese plate, nothing to cook. And when arrived they had forgotten the crackers. Second in room dining was this morning, horrible. Oatmeal arrived with no spoon, they forgot yogurt, forgot syrup for pancakes and sadly the lid would not come off the plate with eggs, so the nice server went back and they made more eggs. When he returned with the missing items, the yogurt didn't come with a spoon! So we just forked it, ha, to not have a 3rd trip. I called to complain and no offer to take anything off the check. Very disappointed.

I have been to Terranea many times, most recently in the beginning on this month. As per usual, I found the resort to be a wonderfully relaxing place with great service, modern amenities, and tasty food choices. The best thing about the hotel is that there is something for everyone. There are a few pools, many casual and upscale restaurants, and a variety of activities ranging from hiking to fishing to pool sitting. The most casual restaurant is still great and the fanciest is even better. The only real downside is that you never know what weather you are going to get. It may be wonderfully warm a few miles away but could be cold there. That just means make sure you check the weather! Lastly, the staff is friendly and courteous and always attentive.

Beautiful resort and interesting history. My husband was there for work, so my 2 daughters (9 &11) and myself tagged along. Delicious food and beautiful views! We got first class service from Kevin at the conseire desk. Hot chocolate chip cookies for my girls, champagne glass for me (by the way, everyone is welcomed with a nice glass of champagne), but Kevin would offer me one when we walked by😋. He gave the girls a stuffed animal (which they are wonderful about giving kids the stuffed animal with Terreanna Resort on it). Macaroons anytime-available at front desk. We wanted to get a car to take the kids to Beverly Hills and Hollywood, and Kevin arranged for us to have a hotel car. My girls looked forward to running into Kevin anytime. I saw Kevin at the front desk and you could tell that he made every person feel as special as a guest as he made us feel. Thank you Kevin for making our stay extra special! By the way, we ran into a movie star there and she was very down to earth! Hope to return there sometime!

Weather was very nice, food and service was excellent, I tried the Nutella baklava in sea beans was very very good, Bashi's happy hour was excellent, particular "the octopus" , missed fish tacos in Nelson and also seeing my old friend Chef Bernard.
