Multiple great restaurants on site, great views of the sunset, great walking paths, pool is fantastic, rooms are luxurious, staff is wonderful! Was the perfect getaway and not too far from Disneyland and Hollywood.

Terranea is set on a magnificent piece of land overlooking the Pacific and Catalina Island. The landscaping is amazing, the service special and the "feel" is one of a faraway beach resort. A day at the spa will be a long-time memory; they pamper you in a magical setting. The restaurants are all good, and the seaside bar has a bell to ring when a whale is swimming by. Rooms are luxurious and all the amenities first-rate.Loved our stay there.

Let's see, where to begin? $40 per person PER DAY to use lower adult pool. Go to upper pool - Jacuzzi doesn't work. Wasp nest on our balcony. But the kicker is hotel security tries to stop me - Twice! - from taking the very elevators down to my room the front desk staff told me to take. Never had a ruder experience at a hotel...I would have been better off at a Motel 6 in Bakersfield. But the ocean views - very nice. So they've got that going for them. Footnote: after speaking to management and having Terranea post responding to my Facebook review saying they wanted to speak with me, haven't heard a peep. Crickets.

A real special treat. This resort sits on the top of a bluff over looking the ocean. The San Vicente hiking trails can be accessed by both sides of the property and follow the gorgeous coast line. We ate in the casual restaurant Nelson's several time, as the view was wonderful and food very good. Enjoyed the pools and gorgeous resort surroundings. We were there on the weekend and the music in the main lobby/bar was wonderful .Our room was spacious, clean and comfy. Ocean view delight!

This resort is beautiful and service was terrific! The meals were good and we enjoyed all four pools. The golf course was very nice as well. The only negative is that you can't walk into the ocean because of the rocks that line the coast. The beach area near the resort is nice but rocks also line that area as well so wading into the water isn't an option. It's was an expensive few days but the service, food, and ambiance were lovely. We'll be back.
