Worst room ever!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 18 hours ago

My wife and I visited the property in July for a fam friends wedding. Traveled from the east coast. We wanted to make it special so our first mistake was contacting the property to request an upgrade in room category. We had a “regular” room which we then upgraded to a suite. My wife did request that our view be special. After flying 6 hrs, renting a car and driving from San Diego we were excited to finally arrive after a long day. We were beyond disappointed to see our room. I think the number was 17. It was behind the front desk down a noisy hallway. The room was a suite as there were two rooms. But each of the ground floor windows looked directly at either the parking lot, parking attendants, guests and/or staff coming into or leaving the property. So, anyone coming to the hotel, wedding, restaurant, bar as a patron or for delivery, had the pass directly by our windows. When we closed the blinds, we learned that the lighting was less than basic. So, we had a choice of either seeing and being seen by everyone or living in the dim rooms. We asked if there were any other rooms but the property was sold out. We travel extensively. Both nationally and internationally. This was the single worst hotel room we have ever had! I just can’t believe that we paid extra for it. We did speak with the mgr who told us that there had been other prior complaints about the room. That room should be put out of service! The pool was fine. The hotel did a nice job for the wedding. Food was good. Staff was professional and responsive. Such a shame that we had such an awful room which colored our experience.

Great experience at The Inn

We went to a wedding at The Inn. Everything about the experience was fabulous. What stood out was the service. From the front desk to the general manager, everyone could not have been nicer. The wedding was beautiful. The events were both indoor and outdoor and all of them ran beautifully and smoothly. We stayed at the hotel a couple of extra nights. Our room was large and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent! I can't wait to come back and visit again.

An Oasis near Del Mar

An absolute Oasis and highly recommend! The property is immaculate and so very quaint! Loved the details in the room including the electrolyte water, the japanese toilet, dyson hairdryer, nespresso machine and very comfy bed. The pool and floaties were wonderful, as were the food options and grounds. Jasmine made our stay extra special and remembered every detail of the celebrations we were there for. So impressed and would return!

Old Charm with modern convince

Could not have found a more intimate and beautiful setting for our daughter's wedding. The staff are extremely attentive and quick to deliver any item you are in need of--from a clothing steamer to a wheelchair for my 93 year old mother. It was a hot week so we spent most of our time in the pool. The pool side service is as attentive as the rest of the Inn, the floats are so comfortable and the Acai bowl with granola and fresh fruit is refreshing and plentiful--highly recommended.

Top Notch Stay and Perfect for Business in the Ranch

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My stay at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe was exceptional. The property is absolutely beautiful and has a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere that made it easy to relax and recharge while still being perfectly situated for my time in the Ranch. The Inn met all of my needs - from the beautiful surroundings and thoughtful hospitality to the comfortable accommodations and convenient location. It was also an ideal setting for meeting with business partners. The atmosphere provided the perfect balance of professionalism, privacy, and relaxed SoCal charm. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return. The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe is a wonderful choice for anyone looking for a beautiful and peaceful retreat with an ideal setting for both business and leisure.
