Discover a different side of San Diego, where the tranquility and natural beauty of Southern California truly comes alive, at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. Just 20 minutes from downtown San Diego, and yet worlds away in its feel, The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe is reminiscent of a bygone era, a time when elegance and grace defined people and places alike. The hotel is set in a grove of historic eucalyptus trees, and is surrounded by the community of Rancho Santa Fe itself. Brightly hued flora welcome you into the inviting quarters, where a selection of guest rooms, casitas and villas offer relaxing accommodations for every style. You will have plenty of room to stretch your legs in spacious living and bedroom areas, and your room also includes an honor bar, DVD player, wireless Internet access, and private patio or deck. Unique touches like wood-beamed ceilings and tall, bright windows further enhance the charm of The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe.

If you are looking for hot showers, clean patio loungers, a functioning restaurant and top notch service and execution then the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe is not for you. Overpriced, slow service, lack of customer focus by staff and just a poorly run hotel. Would not recommend to anyone looking for a $1000 a night experience at less than $100 value. If you stay there and then have bad luck our friend coined that the RSF Effect. Simply awful. Stay there at your own risk.

The grounds are completely beautiful and serene. We loved walking around the gardens, a perfect little boutique hotel! Also, the interior design is gorgeous!

300 level rooms are more like an upscale motel with cars and parking lot right outside. This is not what I expect of an expensive resort. Some parts of the grounds are nice. Only a single very tiny pool. The main building grounds are nice.

Beautiful hotel and rooms. Had a great time biking, playing pickleball and hanging at the pool. This is a must if wanting to relax and celebrate any occasion. Make sure to also walk around and visit the village.

Everything was great. Only critique I will have is that the walls are very thin so you can hear everything around you and everyone next to you.
