My husband, two young boys and I had an incredible stay at the Inn! Our room was beautiful, the bed was so comfortable. Everyone at the hotel was so accommodating and friendly and service at all food and beverage outlets was outstanding. We ate at the cafe for breakfast, Lillian’s for breakfast and dinner, and had drinks at Bing’s. Every meal we had was phenomenal. There was a great selection at each venue and lots of options for our kids. We are absolutely looking forward to going to back for another visit!

We had the best time at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. From the minute we arrived, it felt like a true getaway — peaceful, beautiful, and welcoming. The café quickly became a favorite spot. My wife is a big matcha fan, and she said both the hot matcha and the lavender cold matcha were some of the best she’s ever had. That alone will bring us back. Dinner at Lillian’s was a whole experience. The food was excellent, but what really stood out was the service and atmosphere. The staff went out of their way to make it easy with our kids — bringing out coloring books and even moving our table when we needed a little extra space. The “Lillian’s Wonderland” setup was so beautiful that everyone around was snapping photos and the banana split was perfect for the kids to share, and everything else we tried was just as good. We stayed in one of the Garden Cottages, and it honestly felt over the top. Spacious, comfortable, and private — like having our own little hideaway. Between the setting, the food, and the way the staff made us feel right at home, this was easily a five-star stay. We’re already talking about when we can come back.

Come here for great service and staff overall, comfortable beds, options on pillows, and great linens, mostly good furnishings. Great Day time front desk staff and have can do attitude to help with any request or question you have. Friendly staff all around and shout out to Kendall, Alessia, Richard and Moustavia/other lady server at night for Room service. . Make sure to request being moved if necessary and also if late at night to be shown to room. For ladies, definitely be escorted as very dark and some of the rooms are in back of the Inn. Requested that they add more Vegetarian items and add a salad where you can create what you want on a salad especially those who have food sensitives . Addition of a QR code or additional breakfast menu to order for early birds as the in room dining starts earlier than restaurant. QR code menu ordering has problems when order is sent so call and reconfirm what they have on order. Asked for desks and chairs to be added to regular rooms so if in room dining that have some where to place food tray to eat and/or work on computer. Linens were excellent, airconditioning is good and new bath products smell nice. Toto toilets need to have filters cleaned they need to be replaced when smelling(have one at home). You won’t regret staying here as feels like home in many ways as a small inn to take care of your needs.

The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe is hands down the best place we’ve stayed in the San Diego area. From the second you walk in, you just know it’s something special, like a secret getaway tucked into the hills. The design is perfection. Muted emerald latticework wraps the restaurant walls and ceiling, plush green banquettes, herringbone wood floors, and soft lantern lighting give it this perfect mix of vintage romance and modern chic. The cottages and bungalows feel like an old Hollywood hideaway, with floral wallpaper, velvet drapes, brass fixtures, and fireplaces. Every little detail is thought out. For me, it’s all about the details-the gold clawfoot tub, the Toto toilet, the Dyson hair dryer, the beautiful pool, the incredible spa. Even the coffee in the room is spot on. Lilian’s, their restaurant, is gorgeous and the food is unforgettable. The wagyu sliders? Insane. Bing’s Bar feels like a cozy, wood-paneled speakeasy where you can sit by the fire with a cocktail and never want to leave. We left feeling relaxed, spoiled, and already planning our next trip. If we can, we’ll be back every month.
