This place is killer. Just the wife and I for a short 1 night getaway. Our room was terrific with excellent furnishings and decor. Nice little patio. Great shower and bathroom. The bed was comfy. This is a great place to come with your spouse to just get away. Very quite. No kids anywhere. The grounds are super nice with rose gardens and rock pathways. Weather is also perfect. Off coast enough to get past marine layer. 78-80 degrees perfect for the small pool they have. Nice little downtown with a few coffee shop cafes and a few restaurants too. Food at hotel was good. We will return again for sure.

We stayed here in June 2017 for my daughters wedding for 3 nights. While we had some issues with the rooms such as smelly rooms from fireplace odor or antiseptic smell from carpet cleaning, the room are a large variety of small and quite large. We stayed in 205 after a move and it had a large bathroom, fireplace (which smelled up the room), great large patio, and comfortable room. I do, like this hotel as it has a great location, beautiful grounds, great restaurant, pool, and great Whisky bar open at night. Valet was free with stay. The wedding coordinator is the best ever, Rebecca Graves so check her out if you plan on looking at this site as a possible wedding location. They really did an amazing job and highly recommend. Our wedding was spectacular and the the service was top notch.

affordable nice vintage up scale but not perfect, even after rehab the rooms are more 3 star than 5 but over all 4 star experience. I think the parking guys are 6 starts but the pool area was not that well overseen for food and drink etc but I would go again

The setting is idyllic; rolling hills on the approach to the hotel and a beautiful property on lovely grounds. The main lobby is really nicely done and the receptionists greet you with a warm smile. From there I was disappointed for the rest of the trip. The room was really dated and had loud a/c that woke us up every night, a bathroom that hadn't been renovated for literally decades and plumbing that needs an overhaul. Sink was horribly slow to drain, which they improved upon request but should have been dealt with before having to ask. Room wasn't clean, with a number of hairs found on the floor and in the bathroom upon arrival. The pool area could be pleasant but was a disgrace. It took 45 minutes to get a drink menu and actually get a drink (Mario works at glacial pace) and we had to make three requests for housekeeping to clean up the area as there were abandoned drinks and litter everywhere and even when they cleaned up, the trash can was left overflowing and dirty cups were just collected onto on table rather than cleaned up. An evening glass of wine on the terrace was an exercise in patience as we waited 35 minutes from sitting down to having a drink. Perhaps others will have a better experience when the resort isn't overwhelmed with weddings and anniversary parties, but to be a random guest among these parties leaves you feeling neglected. Had I been asked on checkout how we had enjoyed the stay, I would have given feedback to them, but unfortunately they didn't ask.

We held our wedding at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe on 4/29/17, and also have stayed there multiple times through the wedding process. The hotel has been INCREDIBLE - the staff has gone above and beyond for us too many times to count. Our catering sales manager, Rebecca Graves, worked tirelessly to make sure our event was everything we dreamed of. The hotel staff working the event was SO timely and attentive - anything requests or concerns were addressed immediately! Our wedding weekend included multiple events on different nights and at different locations within the property, and I can honestly say each event was exactly what I envisioned (if not better!). Rebecca was able to take my vision and make it a reality, and for that I will forever be grateful. She was there for every panicked phone call and talked me through all my concerns. No matter how many times I called or emailed, I never felt like a bother and she was always there to calm me down! Truly excellent service. The weekend was honestly perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous - a true retreat. All of our guests loved their rooms and cannot wait to come back and stay there again. We have stayed there multiple times and in different rooms - each stay was incredible and each room was beautiful. We have never been disappointed. We have dined at the restaurant multiple times as well - service and food are both excellent (and we are very picky!!). Overall, we are so happy we chose the Inn for our wedding weekend venue and can't wait to spend anniversaries there. Thank you to the staff at the Inn for making our wedding weekend unforgettable!
