We really loved the cottage, 411. We were able to bring our dog, who has a big personality, and she did great being at the back of the property with access to a private patio. The property is absolutely stunning and relaxing. Not much to do other than relax, but it is perfect for that and nice and quiet. We did a ton of birdwatching from our patio and enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. Any events they are hosting (something almost daily), sign up for. We did the floating sound bath, which was lovely, and the Mahjong Monday event sounded like a blast. Service is really great, which is what you are paying for. Dine at Lillians and get the tomato soup and the mushroom side. They don't pair well, but are both knockout dishes.

We just spent three wonderful days at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. From the moment the valet greeted us to the lovely front desk staff who offered us Evian for the drive home, we felt pampered and cared for. The Inn’s old-world charm is everywhere, from the gorgeous plein air paintings to the cozy spots to sit and watch the world go by. Our enormous King suite was beautifully appointed with rich wood antiques, a vaulted ceiling, a fireplace, and fantastic amenities (including a Dyson hair dryer!). We loved sitting on our private patio, soaking up the California sun. The manicured gardens and fountains are a sensory delight, filled with the scent of jasmine and vibrant hibiscus. We highly recommend walking the trail on the property map, surrounded by towering eucalyptus and the occasional horse passing by. Dinner at Lillian's was delicious, and I had a swoon-worthy massage at the spa. All in all, I can't say enough about this stunning resort.

Too many issues to list. Keep your expectations very low and be prepared to be met with unhelpful staff. Property is very pretty so at least you have nice things to look at while you’re having a frustrating experience.

The grounds are beautiful. Unfortunately, there were some issues with the room that prevented us from a beautiful experience.

Truly exceptional experience for a business trip. The intimate and peaceful nature of the property was a perfect setting to inspire a focus on wellbeing. Every single staff member was helpful and friendly, looking for ways to make my stay exceptional. I can't wait to come back!
