We only spent 1 night here as part of a tour of Italy and thank goodness! What a disappointment. The only thing we can say is it had a great pool! The front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. When we spoke to them about the fact our air conditioning wasn't working, they weren't overly concerned. They said they control the temperature in the rooms (including heat, A/C and fans) and would adjust it for us. When we went back down a few hours later to say it was still not working, the woman on the desk (Francesca I think) just gave us a 'look" and so it's as low as it will go. When we called down to say we couldn't get on the WiFi, she just barked "come down and get a card". Breakfast was okay but nothing special and dinner was a disappointment. The food was not as good as the food we'd come to expect in Italy after already being there a week. Overall, glad we only had 1 night here!

Stayed here with a Voyage Prive deal, as I am sure many others do. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are large and spacious, ours looked out onto the sea which was a great touch. The pool was good with lots of loungers available throughout the day. Breakfast buffet was good, and the option to eat both indoors or outdoors was lovely. The evening bar was also very good in terms of cost and service. As other reviews say, the hotel is not in the centre of Rapallo - its a lovely but fair walk away, perhaps 15 minutes or so. Rapallo itself is ideally situated to get the boat to Portofino for the afternoon or the train down to Cinque Terre (a must do)

Wonderful Hotel, very beautiful, great view to the sea 🌊 Beautiful decoration, beautiful bar and beautiful lightning in the night. I don't remember much about the rooms but I think it was good too. The breakfast is good many dishes and choices (nothing exceptional) the plus is that we had sparkling wine 🥂 I recommend this hotel &especially its great restaurant "Le Cupole" Note: if you liked my comments and/or pictures please click on "Helpful" Si mon commentaire et/ou mes photos vous plaisent, cliquez svp sur j'aime 👍🏻

Very elegant hotel and certainly meets the criteria for being on the Italian Riviera! Also appreciated the complimentary champagne at breakfast. The rooms facing the water and pool are wonderful. Classiest hotel on my Globus tour. The only negative is you do have a 20 minute walk into town but the views and ambience are fine.

From the seemingly vast shallow pool doing a leisurely backstroke you look up at a large wedding cake of an hotel. Not quite an old lady, probably constructed sometime between the world wars, it has an old world charm but has been thoroughly modernised. The reception is attentive and friendly, the public areas are stylish in appearance and generous in size and the two lifts are fast and efficient. The bedrooms, even the standard basic "superior" are also large, but the baths have been removed and showers installed. This may disappoint some, but at least they work really well. Fluffy towels, bathrobes, slippers; flat screen (with 28 international channels) minibar - it's all there ! The breakfast buffet deserves a special mention for the freshness of the many things provided, including scrambled eggs and bacon - a rare treat in most Italian hotels. Even Prosecco is included, but if I had to find one thing to complain about it would be the insipid diluted fruit juices. Parking is still €12 a day, a reasonable charge, but the good news is that wifi is now provided free everywhere in the hotel. (The bad news is that the download speed is not very good !) I can recommend this place without reservation, but the price you pay may vary wildly according to season and on-line booking agency.
