Stayed for one night in March to attend a concert in Reggio Emilia. The Hotel Location is great and they provide wallet parking for guests. The Rooms are old fashioned, wich is a good thing in this historic building. It's a wonderful house full of history and that's the best thing bout it. The Service is average and not very friendly, but ok. The Bathroom is very nice and clean and the beds are big and comfy. The price is a bit high for what you get, but the great history of the house make it worth.

We stayed at Hotel Posta for two nights in a spacious and comfortable room. The staff on reception were somewhat perfunctory and you can't get anything to eat except toasted sandwiches - if you're lucky - in the bar, but it's cosy and slap bang in the middle of town. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and fresh, if a bit unexciting.

With the perfect location, classic italian flair, if you are in the area, this is definitely THE hotel you want to stay in. But skip it if you prefer modern amenities, as it is a historical building with old furnitures. Also skip it if you need complete silence during sleep, it is situated in the busiest piazza, especially on the weekends. But it will not stop me from staying here again next time.

The big surprise of the night came when, in the bed, there were many very small insects, which could not be identified, and another larger one (the one in the picture ). Traces of war (blood) were certainly seen on the pillow and sheet. I want you to understand, however, that nothing is funny. It is inexcusable and absurd that such a hotel in such situations exist. There are a bedbug. We hope that in time the appeared symptoms to disappear and not be lasting effects high. We do not know how it can be avoided such a situation other than by avoiding this hotel. Another guest, In December 2016, has gone through such a situation and here things have not changed at all.

My grandson and I arrived late in the afternoon after an overnight flight from the US and an exhausting day seeing Milan and The Last Supper. Reception was pleasant and efficient. Instead of a room, we were given a small suite with a comfortable bed in each room. My daughter was in Reggio for a month with a group of her students. We met her for a delightful stroll to the Piazza Camillo Prampolini where it seemed the whole town was there enjoying the evening and each other's company. A glass of wine, a slice of pizza, and to bed. We had to leave early the next morning to meet my daughter's group bus to Florence. The hotel staff got us awake, began the breakfast service early for just the two of us, and got us into the taxi to the bus. Wonderful hotel, wonderful service.
