Peppermill Resort Spa Casino

We stay here often & have been trying different rooms whenever possible. This visit we stayed in the Deluxe King Steam Shower on the 4th floor for a night. The bed was very comfortable, pillows & blankets standard but nice. There was an extra pillow and blanket in the closet. The room had nice extras like a little table & 2 chairs, a safe, coffee maker & a make up mirror. There’s a full length mirror outside the bathroom, but I wish there was an outlet near it. The steam shower is great, it has a bench, regular shower head plus 2 adjustable body sprays. The overhead shower pressure isn’t very strong, the body sprays were stronger. Our view was of one of the pools. We ordered room service, which arrived in about 30 minutes. We eat in the cafe about once a month & enjoy the food, but this may have come from another kitchen. The scrambled eggs were runny, hashbrowns undercooked & the little muffins were soggy. The toast & coffee were what we ate out of the meal. It was a nice touch that they bring you coffee in a carafe so it stays nice & hot, and the cream & waters were in a bucket of ice. We love room service, so we will give it another try but different food next time.

Another 5 star stay at the Peppermill! Hubby and I were there with friends to celebrate a friend’s 20th wedding anniversary. We had a great time! Enjoyed the restaurants, the spa and had a great time in the casino. Lots of fun stuff to do in and around Reno. It was great having the Peppermill as our home base for the week.

We travel to Peppermill every year from Texas and have always received outstanding service. Our suite is always nice with attentive daily maid service, and first-class treatment from all the staff. I request a room with the steamshower every visit and they make it happen. ❤️

Avoid this place if you're looking for decent service. Checked into the room, luggage holder was broken. Finally got replaced after maybe an hour which held us up. Coffee maker didn't work the next morning, was NEVER replaced so no coffee. They work with Best Western Hotels but won't tell you that and won't give you the Best Western point for the stay if you don't originally book the stay using your Best Western membership. And, of course, being a casino resort EVERYTHING is over-priced and many of the many areas you're going to walk through STINK of smoke. Yes, the room was OK (other than things being broken) and reasonably priced but that's the limit of the good I can say about this place.

Horrible. Abysmal customer service throughout this property. Long wait at check - in, broken kiosks - nice, zero maid service they will absolutely NOT clean your room, they will absolutely not care when you complain directly to house-keeping or the front desk. The lack of management and customer care is shocking.
