Reviews for Peppermill Resort Spa Casino

A True Resort

This hotel is definitely a resort and it has all of those features: A big spa, a huge swimming pool, a big fitness center, several good restaurants and a huge casino. There are also meeting rooms and a ballroom, so one could spend a lot of time here. My room was very comfortable and I enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. My only complaint is that there are floodlights on the building at night and it is hard to get the room to be dark as the light creeps in.

Will not stay there again.

Very clean rooms and restrooms. Had to pay over 200.00 resort fee for nothing other than a shuttle to take us to the airport. No shuttles to take us anywhere. Gauged us for everything. 2 sodas and 2 candy bars over 25.00. A trial sized hairspray 15.00. No great places to eat. was truly disappointed. just bring a wallet full of money.

Great hotel!

I wasn’t sure what to think of the hotel at first. It is located right in the middle of a not-so-great neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised how amazing the staff were and the quality of the food served in the dining areas. They make their own breads!!! We are not gamblers so the smoke filled casino wasn’t appealing for us but it was packed with people having a good time. They have two pool and and great gym! The rooms were spacious and clean. Showers could use an update. We only ventured out of the hotel to go to Lake Tahoe and that was wonderful!

Incredible hospitality

I (and 13,000 other locals) was evacuated from my home due to multiple wildfires this week. The Peppermill offered incredible special rates to us, even waiving resort fees. The staff have been incredibly kind & understanding and the room is clean, luxurious and 100% satisfactory. Thank you for your hospitality, Peppermill Resort!

Nothing, but LOVELY.

I was a victim of the Bug fire this past weekend, 8/2026. I only heard about this generous discount for us fire victims by a neighbor while staying at a Red Cross center. No one knew how long we would stay evacuated. I made reservations for that same Sunday 8/9 to check in & asked to stay until Wed. 8/12. The room was quiet, classy, calming, clean, PARADISE. I had been keeping my shock to myself & here I could atleast now unwind. Fortunately, the fire passed pretty quickly and I saw checking my phone at 8 p.m., local sheriffs allowing evacuees to come back home. Reading this, I couldn't wait to get back home! I went to check out & briefly mentioned my name & situation. This rep excused herself, then came back. She said, "You owe $0." Overall, I was able to get a nap, & walk around downtown...to unwind. I am SO GRATEFUL to The Peppermill management and their kind and professional people! I broke down then and cried. The kindness of strangers is beyond all words. Thank you Peppermill employees and owners !!
