Rodos Park Suites & Spa

We’ve recently returned from Rodos Park, what a lovely hotel. Well situated for old Rhodes town and new town. Hotel only small which is ideal for us. Lovely gardens which are very well maintained, everyday leaves are swept, pool cleaned and generally a lovely surroundings to the hotel. Our room overlooked the ruins at rear of hotel, very quiet and peaceful with the added bonus of watching the cats which wander this area. It’s also a nice hotel for plane spotting as they follow a flight path over the hotel, we found it fascinating others may not. The hotel itself I would regard as classy, lovely woodwork in hotel corridors, restaurant etc and nice comfy furniture inside to relax and have a read or quiet time. Reception staff very attentive and helpful, a lovely welcome homemade lemonade on arrival. Our cases were taken to our room on second floor for us. It wasn’t a huge room but had plenty of storage, drawers and hanging space plus a safe. Tv, plenty of sockets ideal size for a week. Bed linen excellent quality and was changed on your request. Bathroom had lovely products, hair and shower gel, conditioner and body lotion. Lovely fluffy towels and a decent sized shower. Very unusual for us is the turn down service at night, Anna checked each night if we needed any supplies, coffee, cream etc. or change of towels, along with a goodnight note and a little sweet treat! Rooms also cleaned each morning while at breakfast and they are very thorough, a credit to the hotel. We opted for B&B, as we intended to eat locally in old town. That plan wasn’t be… we ate in the restaurant every night and what lovely food we had too, also drank some lovely wine chosen by the very funny Dimitri, we managed to get wet wine every night, he’ll understand the joke between him and my husband! As we don’t eat fish he organised to change one of the dishes for us, chef happy to oblige. Evangelo and Joanna you have a lovely team in your restaurant and pool bar, all pleasant and nothing too much trouble. As the evening meals were so good we ate at lunchtime several days too, club sandwich with fries to share if you choose this to eat alone.. good luck, it’s huge! Breakfast was also lovely, either buffet or a selection to choose à la carte too. Plenty of selection and constantly being refilled every few mins by the kitchen team. We have had a lovely weeks stay at Rodos park, lovely weather too just before the rain hit the day after we left. Also to mention the hotel have excursions they can organise and advise on. We did Lindos and also Symi island, both pick up from hotel and dropped again afterwards. Would highly recommend this hotel and we’ll definitely be back next year! Well done everyone !!

Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location giving a calm oasis and yet a 10 minute walk from the stunning Old Rhodes Town. Really friendly and helpful staff. We loved our room 102 which was in a quiet corner of the hotel with a comfortable bed. Cleaning staff were very attentive leaving little sweet treats at night. The pool area is lovely with large trees and mood lighting in the evening. The roof terrace (open 7pm-1am) is very chilled.

We’ve just returned from a very enjoyable week at this lovely little hotel. Its position is perfect for visiting the old town- literally a few minutes walk- so we took full advantage of this. The service from all the hotel staff was exemplary from reception, housekeeping and bar. However it was the breakfast room staff who impressed us most; they worked incredibly hard to ensure everyone’s comfort - even when the guests were less than polite. Breakfast buffet has a fantastic choice, which is constantly replenished. The turn down service in the evening is a lovely touch. Despite the proximity to the old town, the hotel is relatively quiet and surrounded by trees. We are not sunbathers but pool area is lovely and the pool beautifully kept. The only disappointment for us was that our room (112) overlooked a rather ugly porch over the main entrance but we thought this might be because we had requested a room with a bath? Request a higher level room to avoid this or a room at the back of the building, which are apparently quieter. Thank you, Rodos Park! We hope to return.

We have been coming to this lovely little oasis in the middle of Rhodes Town for several years and it never disappoints. The location is perfect, just across the road from the Old Town and an easy walk to the New Town and Port area. We were extremely well looked after by the amazing staff, from Popi and her team on Reception, to Evangelos, Johanna and all the great team in the restaurant and kitchen, not forgetting Anna and the lovely ladies in Housekeeping who do a great job. We had one of the recently refurbished rooms overlooking the pool, which was very well appointed but can be a bit noisy due to passing traffic. The rooms overlooking the archaeological site at the back are quieter and only get sun in the afternoon so are cooler. Having said that, we still prefer the front rooms with the view over the beautiful garden and pool area. We are already planning our trip(s) for next year.

We really enjoyed our 6 night stay at this hotel, however there were a few areas for improvement. Overall the hotel is beautiful-clean with excellent housekeeping staff, lovely turn down service, really elegant renovated premium rooms and very nice breakfasts. The pool area was very attractive too. Location to the old and new town areas was perfect. Food and drinks by the pool were expensive, but this was to be expected. One reason for our rating is that even though we had booked a double room, as a husband and wife, we arrived to two single beds. We went to reception and asked about a double room and were told that unfortunately, none were available. Given I had booked the room 5 months in advance, this was disappointing. We were asked to check again the next day. I found this approach unusual in this level of hotel. No room was available the next day either. On our third day, we were offered a double room, but given we were now half way through our stay, we thought we might as well stay where we were (and as stated the room was lovely, in spite of the single beds) instead of pack everything and move. A second reason for our 4/5 rating was our departure day. We paid extra for breakfast to be included in our rate, however on our final day we had a very early flight. In other hotels, a nice breakfast basket or similar is provided in these circumstances. We were given two stale sandwiches and some old fruit hastily tossed into a paper bag-not a great final impression. As stated, overall we really enjoyed the hotel and with a bit more attention to detail, the hotel would reach its 5 star rating.
