TUI need your attention to ensure your requirements are met.

Having stayed here in 2023; we decided to return in May 2024, booked through TUI Travel Agents. I requested a Room overlooking the beautiful swimming pool as we had in 2023.. Upon arrival at the Hotel we were taken to a ground floor room at the rear of the Hotel with no view other than a grass field. I went to reception and requested a pool view and was informed the room allocated was a "Standard" room. A pool view would cost an additional 43 Euros a day, which I paid. The rooms must be vacated at 12 midday on the last day and as our Airport Taxi wasn't arriving until 7p.m.;I requested keeping the room for 7 hours , which cost an additional 92 Euros. I queried the poor arrangement with TUI, both with representatives visiting the Hotel and upon return to the UK. I have not had the courtesy of a reply.

FABULOUS PLACE

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Can't fault this hotel. A friend and I have just returned from a fantastic week here. You couldn't wish for nicer or more helpful staff. Everyone was helpful, efficient and did their very best to make the holiday enoyable and memorable. Almost every member of staff is multi lingual, speaking English, French, German, and for all I know, Spanish and Italian too, changing effortlessly from one language to another. The hotel is not on the beach but is close to the harbour and the old and new towns, where you will find plenty of shops and restaurants. The hotel has a lovely secluded pool with space for outdoor dining and plenty of sun beds, in sun or shade. On arrival, the lobby is impressive and welcoming. You will be met by helpful reception staff and concierge, who was out of the doors to help us before we got out of the taxi from the airport. We had booked a twin bedded room but when taken up to our room, found it was a double. No problem - we were taken straight back to reception where everything was sorted very quickly. They understood that the room occupants were going to be a couple who were celebrating an anniversary when in fact we were friends, one of whom has a special birthday approaching. I think this got lost in translation somewhere but as mentioned, it was soon sorted. We were on a half board basis. The breakfast buffet is the best I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot. We are both fussy eaters but the food selection was wonderful and topped up with fresh provisions frequently. If you can't find something to suit you then I really don't know what you want. There is a selection of hot and cold, lots of salad, fruit, the best selection of breads I have ever seen, yoghurts, cereals, pastries, etc, etc. There is an a la carte menu for dinner but as we were on half board, we had a fixed menu, which was very limited and we were not happy with the lack of choice. However, they bent over backwards to find something that we liked. Magnolis the waiter and barman (and I apologise profusely if I have his name wrong, told us that it is the equivalent of Manuel in Spanish), could not have been more helpful. He was so patient with us and deserves a medal. On departure, while waiting in reception for the car to take us to the airport, the manager passed through and shook hands with all the guests waiting to leave. A really nice gesture. This was our first trip to Greece and I sincerely hope it will not be the last.

Lovely hotel with pool just outside the medieval city.

I contacted Popi on reception to see if myself and a friend could utilise the facilities for a day at the end of our holiday in the medieval part of town for a change of scenery. Along the staff were so helpful and friendly. Lovely hotel and fab lunch and drinks.

Little gem in Rhodes town

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Having visited Rhodes 14 times over many years I have found the best hotel. Very central for both old and new town. Staff amazing and they cannot do enough to make you feel at home. Manolis in the bar is very knowledgeable and makes beautiful cocktails and advises on wine to compliment your meal. For my birthday I was presented with a cake by the lovely breakfast staff. In the evening chef cooked me chateaubriand which was carved by the manager at our table followed by more cake. The whole hotel is well kept and spotless and every member of staff welcoming. We will be returning very soon and highly recommend this hotel to you.

Excellent SLH near the Old Town

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff and service were both excellent. The hotel is 75 rooms and feels just the right size, we had a spacious room overlooking the pool. The pool is a real asset to the hotel and the gardens that surround it. George the lifeguard arrives at 10am every day and was super helpful. You can have breakfast and dinner looking out over the pool and gardens, which is a beautiful setting. We had booked bed and breakfast, a great selection of food in the morning with choices for everyone. We hadn’t planned to eat in the hotel but the food was excellent and we were so well looked after, we had 3 meals. Lots of other guests were on the half board option. Reception also gave us a great recommendation and we had lunch at Koukos in the new town area. It’s 10 minutes walk into the old town and the new town so the perfect location. We would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to the team at Rodos Park.
