Belmond Copacabana Palace

We visited from London and stayed for 2 nights at the end of a Brazil trip . We loved the hotel, and although we only had the standard room, it was spacious , beautifully detailed . Food and drink all round - including at newly re-opened pool was fantastic. Staff very attentive and friendly and ran like clockwork always ensuring every little touch was taken care of including fresh towels ready for when you get out of the pool, and little snacks and drinks for guests on the house . Eddy by the pool was particularly outstanding. The real prize though was the service , which was consistently excellent across all areas of the hotel. Out of all the 5 star hotels we’ve stayed in this one stands out for having every detail thought. In particular the housekeepers in the room offered a very personalised service with nice little touches in the room- above and beyond equivalent 5 star hotels. We would absolutely come again - an incredible experience and fantastic hotel .

What an incredible hotel. We stayed for a week to celebrate a family birthday and the effort made by staff to make this truly memorable was just amazing. Five beautiful rooms and a suite upgrade plus birthday touches throughout. It’s obviously a very beautiful hotel, deservedly one of the world’s best but it is the attention to detail, the care and thought from every staff member that turns this into an experience of a lifetime.

The Copa is a timeless classic. Great location, loads of history but the best thing was the service. Each and every staff member amazing. Will return soon

Hotel is Magnifique. Copacabana neighborhood is violent, unsafe, dirt and dangerous place to be. The Mayor may leave very far from copacabana.

We decided to stay at the hotel for all the history and elegant way that hotel has. The services provided by the hotel are very good, that staff very friendly and helpful.
