Belmond Copacabana Palace

The hotels on Viking Cruises are always top-notch, luxurious, and excellent! Copacabana Palace is an elegant hotel like Hawaii's Royal Hawaiian Hotel. The service from the time the doorman opens the doors lives up to what a 5-star hotel is like. The pool bar was not hoity-toity, and the atmosphere was casual, fun, and lively with live samba music and dancing. High-end, sophisticated hotels have fresh flowers in the room, and our orchids were beautiful! Our spacious and comfy room overlooked Copacabana Beach, which entertained us with all the activity and excitement. The staff was always smiling and accommodating with our needs. The general manager worked closely with our amazing Viking guide, Licia to make sure our stay was the best ever and lived up to Viking's expectations. I would recommend Copacabana Palace to visitors who want to have the best experiences in Brazil!

This hotel was incredible- like an oasis of perfect calm & comfort in a beautiful historical building in the frentic capital of Rio & just what we needed at the end of our busy holiday. We had an absolutely amazing stay at Belmond Copacabana Palace. Everything was truly exceptional — the restaurants were outstanding, the staff were incredibly warm, professional, and always ready to help with anything. From the moment we arrived, we felt taken care of and welcomed in the most elegant way. The service, the atmosphere, the food — everything was simply perfect. We had a really, really great time and created wonderful memories here. Without a doubt, this is the best place to stay in Rio. We will definitely be back.

Copacabana Palace has the best Sunday Brunch! For 20 years I have enjoyed the Sunday Brunch and March 8th was the best ever! The food is unsurpassed in variety and quality , server Diego could not have been more attentive and helpful, Tony the brunch manager was 100% on top of every detail and the entertainment was professional. Every time I go to Sunday Brunch I am pleased..... the experience is always one the highlights of my Rio visits. I can not think of enough superlatives to recommend Sunday Brunch at Copacabana Palace.
