Belmond Copacabana Palace

This was our 5th time at the property and it was once again unforgettable. Every aspect of our stay was perfect - the room, the food, the service. Above and beyond hospitality for the whole family, including our small children who the staff bent over backwards to ensure had a special time at Copa. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

This hotel made our trip. The rooms are superb, but it’s the staff that make it, particularly the Concierge team who do a fantastic job of curating experiences that we couldn’t have done without their assistance

So many better options in Rio, zero attention to detail for a place like that! Not worth the money, not worth a reservation, not worth our time or respect. We scheduled a brunch on Easter six months in advance, yet they didn’t have a table for us. The waiter kept pushing us to start eating at the buffet because the table was ‘almost ready’—which never happened, we were left in curbside tables with a lady smoking. Its not and option for me to put a linen suit to have lunch with a corner table with no ac. After an hour, we left, and no one cared that we were leaving. It was really fun watching people eat and enjoy their Easter treats. Don’t waste your time. The street vendors on the beach right in front of this place will definitely give you a good time with kindness, joy and respect. Tourist crap trap

The hotels on Viking Cruises are always top-notch, luxurious, and excellent! Copacabana Palace is an elegant hotel like Hawaii's Royal Hawaiian Hotel. The service from the time the doorman opens the doors lives up to what a 5-star hotel is like. The pool bar was not hoity-toity, and the atmosphere was casual, fun, and lively with live samba music and dancing. High-end, sophisticated hotels have fresh flowers in the room, and our orchids were beautiful! Our spacious and comfy room overlooked Copacabana Beach, which entertained us with all the activity and excitement. The staff was always smiling and accommodating with our needs. The general manager worked closely with our amazing Viking guide, Licia to make sure our stay was the best ever and lived up to Viking's expectations. I would recommend Copacabana Palace to visitors who want to have the best experiences in Brazil!

Wonderful hotel, great service and location. I was there for a conference but would love to come back for vacation!
