Ultimately, this felt like a budget hotel trying to present itself as a resort. It is definitely not what I would expect from a Hyatt Category 5 property, let alone a luxury hotel. The service was extremely poor, based on my direct interactions with Guest Service Manager Pamela and Front Desk Supervisor Sebastian. Their handling of the situation was unprofessional and disappointing. I also sent a detailed email to the general managers, Yetzaira and Luis, but never received any response or follow-up, reinforcing the lack of accountability. Additionally, the hotel’s beach was quite mediocre, with too many stones and trash, and the scenery was underwhelming. The onsite restaurants and bars charged a mandatory 16% service fee, but the food quality and service did not come close to justifying it. Our water was never refilled, and service was largely absent until we finished our meals. The pre-made welcome drink provided by the hotel was also disappointing, as even their own staff admitted it was unpleasant and too sweet. Moreover, the hotel relied on golf carts for transportation around the property, but these were often unreliable and delayed. I frequently had to wait a long time, around ten minutes, for a golf cart to arrive. In addition, the island offered many tours that started very early in the morning, around 7 or 8 a.m. This meant that breakfast needed to be very timely. However, the hotel’s breakfast, which was supposed to open at 7 a.m., often did not open until after 7:05 a.m., causing further delays and inconvenience. Because of this experience, I would not return to this hotel. Unfortunately, it also left such a bad impression that I would think twice about returning to Puerto Rico to spend my money. I would rather spend it somewhere it is truly valued and appreciated.

Poolside was the best! Ryan our server for the Wet Bar was great and very attentive. Nothing better than lounging by the pool with good drinks, good food and great service.

Ishaimi was the greatest waitress. Just kind and diligent. I had the best ribeye I’ve had in awhile. Super kid friendly. Excellent experience
