Great hotel with prime location and wonderful atmosphere
I couldn’t recommend the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico more! It was a clean, welcoming atmosphere with wonderful service. The room was spacious. We had a great view of the ocean from our balcony. The bars were lively and had great drink specials. The pools were well kept as were the grounds. And most importantly, the staff were helpful and willing to go above and beyond when you need something. Angelo from the Prime Steakhouse was particularly accommodating and we had an incredible meal there (don’t skip out on desert- it’s to die for.) If you are headed to Puerto Rico, this is the place to go!

Angelo at Prime was an excellent server. Very attentive, funny and personable. He made for a great experience. The food was delicious too, steak, lobster, salads, sides, everything was perfect!!

Beautiful country, nice hotel/resort
Beautiful location and very safe feeling. You feel isolated from the locals and it feels like a resort, if you are in to that sort of trip. Felt expensive especially with paying for food (I traveled with 2 teens 😬 who were always hungry) The breakfast buffet was delish, but spendy to pay every day. On site restaurants were ok. Resort was pretty clean overall.

Excellence Service, Beautiful Resort
Excellence Service at a Beautiful Resort We took a couples trip to Puerto Rico in February and stayed at the Hyatt. It was a beautiful resort, but what stood out was the top notch service we received at the resort. Matthew was an amazing waiter at Prime 787. He was so attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was fantastic. The food at Prime was incredible! Chef Juan Martinez at Nori was also superb! I highly recommend taking a sushi making class with Chef Juan. He was so fun and engaging and helped us all deliver delicious sushi! If you are going to Puerto Rico and want a relaxing, beautiful resort with outstanding service, Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve is the place for you!
