I will share with you acouple of the reasons I would not recommend this hotel. The reasons are as follows: 1) There no mini fridge in the bedroom and I went with a infant 6 month old, so we didn't have cold storage for the baby. 2)The floors were visibly dirty. 3)The pool were supposed to be open until and at 7pm the lights were turned off. 4)I spent 15 minutes figuring out what was going on with the TV because it wouldn't turn on, until I checked the current connection which was unbelievably disconnected. 5) In three separate ocassions I called the main desk for a cart to ride us because we have the baby with us, and the cart never ever arrived. One of those times it was raining so we had to manage to go from the hotel room to the lobby.

Melia Coco Beach is a beautiful resort the atmosphere is lovely. And the staff are wonderful. I would definitely come back to vacation at the resort because I really enjoyed myself. I would recommend this resort to family and friends to vacation or otherwise.

I went on vacation with a recently fractured foot and they were extremely helpful and accommodating me with a walk in bathroom and they drove us right up to door. Thank You for all your help during my stay. I will definitively go back next year!

Needs to have much better communication between lobby and the people that have the room clean and ready. I got my room at 5:30 (they tell me by phone to be there 12:30) and when I got the room the girl who clean told me when I ask that our room was ready and check by supervisor by 3pm. So why in lobby they keep telling me to wait because the room wasn't ready? Neither was a line of people waiting. And then they said to stay in that hot lobby for hours waiting for a call they never made. Not a good way to start the day like no one cares.
