Another amazing stay

Another amazing experience at AKR special thanks to DM David, Gregory (ended up delayed and he went above and beyond to assist with luggage), waiters and bartenders Excellant. Yolanda and Melanie kept things running smoothly as did Kevin for diving.

Dolphin Encounter was top notch!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We did the Dolphin Encounter, through Victor Bodden Tours, on April 1, 2024. This experience well exceeded our expectations. The facilities are really nice! Our cruise ship arrived later than expected and we were so glad that our tour company was able to reschedule this as it was the highlight of our tour. The dolphin trainer was so informative and made sure that we had a great experience and answered any questions that we had. We would definitely recommend this and would do it again for sure.

Scam, false advertisement

We booked Anthony’s key resort Discover scuba class through Norwegian Cruise line. Advertise it states that with the discover scuba it can go towards your Patti certification. Once I completed the dive with the instructor who also accepted my hundred dollar tip gracefully, Refused to sign my open water certification. His excuse was that I had to do all four dives with him… Which was not stated on their website, nor Norwegian excursion. This was known to me prior to booking that they might not sign my certification. Then I would never have used Anthony’s key resort. There was nothing wrong with my dive, I did everything correctly the instructor just clearly wanted to make money off of me. Take your money beware.

Dolphin Encounter

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Just returned from a trip to Roatan. Among many of the fun things we did on the island, was a trip to Anthony's Key for a Dolphin Encounter. The entire experience was phenomenal. It was educational watching each trainer interface with the dolphins and share information with the visitors. The dolphins are obviously well cared for, loved and happy. Highly recommend!!

Take me back!

This is a beautiful resort. The staff was always kind and helpful no matter the request. The food was delicious and the fruit was always fresh. Our bungalow was so comfy, AC included. I slept well every night! It’s a very relaxing resort; sitting in the hammock or sitting in the sand on their little beach is the perfect was to decompress. They have a nice size pool with a bar; spend an afternoon there! Our dive crew was by far the best! They were very patient with our group of 20 ladies and took great care of us. We had some great experiences including swimming with pilot whales that arrived out of nowhere. We had a great shark dive and saw so much wildlife on each reef dive. The night dives were very well organized and we all felt safe. I have a ton of photos from this trip that I will forever cherish. Lastly, please remember to tip the staff, especially your dive crew. We had the same breakfast/lunch/dinner staff and they were so accommodating; tip them too! And they lug your bags to/from your bungalow, so tossing them a few extra dollars is suggested too.
