Samoset Resort On The Ocean

We enjoyed a lovely fall weekend in the Wind Drift cottage at the Samoset. The staff were welcoming and thoughtful - from a welcome note and nibbles in our kitchen on arrival to ensuring that friends staying in the hotel proper were assigned a room near our cottage for easy visiting. The heated bathroom floors and living room fireplace were welcome amenities on a crisp October morning. You also have spectacular ocean views from every seat and both bedrooms in the cottage, but my favorite spot was the enclosed porch, curled up in a comfy chair with a cup of tea watching the boats.

Great Spot in Maine. Absolutely gorgeous property with stunning views and lots to do. Golf, fitness, pool, disc golf, lighthouse. The staff was very nice. They provide daily housekeeping . Rooms are nice. Restaurant on property is nice and the fitness center is huge with a lot to offer. The resort is located 15 min away from Camden which is a great town. We went in fall and we will definitely be back !

The Samoset Resort is a beautiful location to enjoy the ocean views and relax at the spa. The grounds are beautifully maintained. There are so many activities so close by from enjoying a sail out in the harbor, hiking trails with gorgeous views to visiting historic homes and sites like Fort Knox and the Observatory in Prospect.

Always fabulous. This is our autumn getaway place, and we're already looking forward to 2026. Friendly staff, amazing room views, and fine food. Upscale but Maine -casual. Can't say enough good things about the Samoset. New England at its best.

The resort was spectacular. We had a corner room overlooking the golf course and the ocean. It could not be any more beautiful. The restaurant on site were delicious. Any needs that we had it was a simple text to the conceirage and within a minute or so they had the answer and got back to us. Very convenient. Highly recommend coffee at Zoots and a stroll through Camden. Beautiful area beautiful resort 10 out of 10.
