We came for a long wedding weekend and we take back fantastic memories of a visit here - and it starts with the accommodations. Samoset is situated on the water and we had a room with a view. Room was large, clean, and comfortable. The hotel offers a number of amenities to its guests including an 18-hole golf course, large gym, indoor and outdoor poos, spa, a number of conference rooms, a nice bar and restaurant. Take the .81 mile walk along the stone jetty to the lighthouse to see a view of the resort from the hotel. AAA and AARP discounts offered too!!

Beautiful Resort with a great golf course that has some picturesque holes. The Resort sits on the Oceanside with amazing views. There is plenty to do here as a family or as a couple or single. Zero entry pool with a pool bar/lunch spot. Tennis and basketball courts as well. Resort has a great breakfast as well as two great dining options. If you need some relaxation, it has you covered with a great SPA.

We stayed for weekend in October and the weather was amazing. To start off the front desk was very helpful in getting us signed in and directing us to our room Once we were settled we went to the pool and swam. The pool was great and the hot tub was really nice. The next day we took a walk out to the light house at the end of the rock walk way and the view was beautiful. For the rest of the day we enjoyed disk golf shuffleboard and the pool once again! All in all incredible stay. Would 100% visit again.

My husband and I visited the resort over the weekend with some friends! We were able to stay in the beautiful two bedroom cottage on the golf course. The cottage was so beautiful and had everything we needed. We took advantage of how close it was to the lighthouse and walked out to see it. We also enjoyed disc golf, the steam room, pool and Hot tub! The food was amazing we ate dinner at the restaurant and ordered room service each morning for breakfast! We only live an hour away, yet we look forward to our stay here each year.

We just got back from a 9 day trip to Maine and we stayed at the Samoset one night. Unfortunately, our night there was rainy and very foggy so we had zero view our first day there. The next day was pretty and we were able to walk the property and enjoy the views. Def walk to the lighthouse.....its a long walk with very uneven rocks so plan to take your time. You can't go inside the lighthouse but the views are nice and you can get some decent pictures. We didn't play the golf course but it looked pretty too. We had dinner reservations at Bella Vita Restaurant and the food was really yummy. Good service too. The breakfast buffet was yummy and one of the workers there was very friendly and helpful. This property is beautiful.....its set off on its own and not within walking distance to anything so keep that in mind when booking. Our only complaint was the valet service. When we checked out, we had to find someone to get our car. My husband gave our ticket to the valet attendant and he got our car. He pulled up, turned the car off, got out and handed the keys to my husband and walked off...leaving us there with our bags still to load up. We started loading things ourselves and the attendant walked by again and my husband said "so do you guys not help with loading luggage" and the guy came and grabbed one bag and put it in the back, said "oh, sorry" and walked off again before we were finished. Its the craziest thing we've ever seen. We valet at every hotel and have never had this happen. Would have been nice if he had kept our car running, loaded our things, opened the door for us and wished us well. Not a great last impression of our experience.
