This was a lovely quaint hotel on the outskirts of Rome. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful especially at the front desk. The rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was basic but tasty. The shuttle bus worked very well and was always on time. The smartphones in every room worked very well and allowed us to phone for the bus very easily. Only tip would be don’t go down to the local square for food. It was expensive and not very good.

We stayed at the Duke hotel for two nights and enjoyed our stay. It is certainly away from the hustle and bustle but we knew what we were getting into - the shuttle was great. They were also great at arranging for taxis as needed. We LOVED the breakfast and our room was beautiful. All in all, the value for the room was way above our expectations.

The Duke Hotel in parioli rome is a gem. They give you personal care are warm and friendly. They have a "handy" smartphone in every room. It is free for the time that you are a guest. It enables you to make unlimited local calls and international calls to specific countries. We could borrow an umbrella for the time we were there. The place is very clean and everyone on the staff is helpful and friendly. There is a free shuttle to the center of the city every 1/2 from 8 am until 11pm. I highly recommend staying at the Duke Hotel for your stay in Rome.

Overall, the hotel was clean and the location wasn't too far from the city/was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. However, the food, decor and service were mediocre. I wouldn't consider this a four star hotel. The bed was very hard, and the bathroom had a small hair dryer that stopped working after several minutes. It wasn't a terrible experience, but for the price, you can definitely do better.

My friend and I visited the Duke Hotel in Rome in October. It is located in a very safe and nice hotel area in northern Rome above the park. The desk clerks and Management were very nice. The quaint hotel is quite charming and the restaraunt offers good food for dinner. Also, the breakfast buffet is included with your room. Our room was impeccably clean. Do Not exchange USDollars for Euros at the desk, the rate is too high. Get them at your local bank before leaving home. Extra perk is the hotel provides shuttle service hourly to and from The City Center, where you can walk to many sites or connect with The Big Bus and circle the entire city with the hop on/hop off pass. The hotel is located near two other restaurants and a market on the corner for fruits and snacks.
