Not that close to the city centre but there is a shuttle service which you need to book in advance to drop you off at a designated drop off area near the city. Hotel is clean, trendy / pretty with a lot of business clients booking in during the week. Breakfast was decent and atmosphere pleasant. Staff is super friendly and polite.

Let me start with the positive - room is big and nice - specially for Rome and... thats about it Negative - The NEVER informed us that there is an extra charge for a second person to stay in the room and very conveniently charged us 50 euro per night! - We accidentally spilled coffee on the bed at 9 pm, called housekeeping immediately. They send someone after 20 minutes. The person comes with an attitude and hands us two sheets asking us to change it ourselves. I am sorry, but this is a 4 star hotel at the least - we are well travelled people and in NO hotel have i ever had to change my OWN SHEETS. Anyway, finally someone comes to change the sheets - Then we go down and the lady at the reception SHOUTS AT US - I swear, I felt I was back in a boarding school with the headmistress shouting at us! This is really ridiculous. Please teach your staff tone of voice with clients - The mattress was beyond disgusting and uncomfortable - they charged us 40 euro as a cleaning fee - this was probably their concession to make up for the foul mattress - Finally, I had a business meeting, I called to book a cab and she downright said we dont have cabs in the area. I responded by saying, that is why I called the reception? So they can call one. I go down and the call was never recorded. Then I see an empty car coming and the receptionist runs out saying I cannot get into that car becuase they called one for me that should be there in 4 minutes. They asked me to take the third car, after waiting for 15 minutes, I get into the third car as promised. two old italian ladies come running out screaming that is their cab What age do we live in??? You cannot manage a taxi stand??? I mean if there was such an issue with cabs, they should have just let me take the earlier one and do simple inventory management by calling one cab less at the end. This is seriously the worst and most unprofessional hotel I have ever stayed in!!!! Atleast the structure itself is a saving grace!

We stayed here for three nights in a junior suite after reading the reviews on trip advisor and wanting a quieter relaxing location after busy days sight seeing and wow we weren't disappointed. The hotel is a 10 euro taxi ride from central Rome or 10 minutes on the hotels free shuttle. The hotel from the movement you enter has an air of charm and elegance, the staff are welcoming and extremely helpful. The decor is one of quiet reflective elegance and the rooms match this. We stayed in a large junior suite with a large bedroom, queen sized bed and large bath / shower room. We ate in the hotel resturant the first evening and where pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and menu. This hotel is a real find away from the noise and bustle of Rome. It's a taxi ride into Rome as it's too far and too many hills to walk, also be away apart from a small shop by the hotel the location is in the middle of a residential area, we loved the location and escaping Rome at night suited us.

Following a Mediterranean cruise, our travel agent booked us into this hotel for a few days stay in Rome. We couldn't have been more pleased with it. When you first arrive you find it nestled into the curve of a hilly, narrow street. Weary as to what we might find inside, we were pleasantly surprised once we stepped in the doors. As I walked around the lobby area, the Polo Lounge and the breakfast room/restaurant, all I could think of was how 'grand' it was. Very well maintained with polished floors and fixtures, overstuffed couches and lounge chairs. A 'refined' feel to it. The guest room was cub the same. Plenty of space with beautiful pieces of furniture strategically placed throughout it. Very large bathroom area with big, thick towels! Each morning we were pleasantly greeted as we entered the restaurant for their amazing breakfast buffet.

Lovely rooms, spotlessly clean throughout hotel. All staff were extremely helpful. Good selection at breakfast. Disabled friendly although there is a small step at the entrance which is a nuisance if you're on a scooter. There are accessible rooms for disabled people, which can accomodate scooters. Area is hilly, so not suitable for wheelchairs etc and there isnt anything to do or see in the immediate area, but it is quiet after the noise of the city. Only disappointing thing is that there is no outside space to sit and have a quiet drink apart from a couple of tables and chairs situated at the main enteance. Overall enjoyed our stay.
