Just a stone’s throw away from Rome’s main artistic hangouts, this exclusive temple of luxury and relaxation blends in perfectly with its surroundings. Wander through the narrow streets, where culture and history burst out from every corner. This charming five-star hotel features an exquisite design and is surrounded by Mediterranean gardens with stunning panoramic views of Rome and a relaxing atmosphere. Villa Agrippina Gran Meliá, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, is an exclusive indulgence retreat just a stone's throw from the Eternal City's main artistic gems, being the closest hotel to the Vatican and the Sistine chapel. Named after the first Roman empress, the property boasts an impeccable design that oozes culture and history, featuring panoramic views, a lush Mediterranean garden, delicious fine local cuisine and a spectacular outdoor swimming pool - not at all common in Roman hotels - to round off a picture-perfect stay in this captivating city.

Villa Agrippina is one of our favourite hotels in the world. It’s 15 minutes walk to all the major sites of Rome, but gives a feeling of an Italian country holiday. The stuff is welcoming and helpful. Ask for the floors with a garden view.

We arrived late at night and the Porter was happy to see us and efficiently took care of our bags while we checked in. Excellent and attentive service.

White Lotus Vibes -Location location location -the scent of the Carner Barcelona welcomes you to the chicest reception and the concierge are there to serve you - even before you arrive with reservations to the best restaurants and recommendations as requested. Personable and stylish everyone you come across is a delight there to enhance your experience from the gorgeous soft pagoda style double beds by the pool with fluffy towels, cocktails to breakfast and the bells boys who are there in the heat to get you a taxi. The rooms are cool with plenty of storage and the firmness of the beds are perfect. You can walk 5 minutes up the hill to the best viewpoint all over Rome and down the hill to the best little area with a plaza with the fountain of the four rivers - divine little local restaurants with fairy lights and bars - great food - also walking distance to central Rome and Trastevere and only 10 mins from St Peter’s Basicillocq - we are so happy we made this reservation it made our trip having a chic oasis away from the hussle and bussle of Rome.
