I was booked for two nights and stayed seven! Great large room especially for Europe, modern style on a great plot of land in the heart if Rome. The staff was great and meet our every need! Cannot say enough good things about this place. If I come back to Rome, I will stay here.

Just returned from an excellent trip to Rome. The Gran Melia is a very nice hotel and the staff are superb - nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed for 5 nights and it was a perfect location to visit all of the key sites.

We were looked after from the moment we arrived. The staff where excellent, all of our requests where met with a smile and a willingness to help. Our suite was superb. After walking several miles during the day, it was lovely to come back to the hotel and use the spa to rejuvenate tired limbs and muscles, ready for the evening walk to Trastevere for dinner, drink in one of the many bars and watch the street performers. Rome is a wonderful city and we will be going back and staying in the Gran Melia

Superb location close to the city centre and at the same time great tranquil spot for a retreat. Walking distance to every spot in the city or connections with tourist busses etc. Very very attentative, friendly and good staff all around. Made us feel very welcome from the start. The pre-arrival arrangements were excellently handled with quick and professional response. Would definately go back and stay when in Rome.

Great experience! Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean. We were up upgraded to a garden room upon arrival. Concierge was helpful in booking our reservations to both the Vatican and Colosseum. You'll pay an agent fee but well worth avoiding extremely long waits. Walk to Trasteverne for dinner. Good breakfast to start your day too. I would definitely go back!
