Beautiful hotel and fantastic staff

Absolutely stunning hotel surrounded by beautiful gardens with the most helpful and friendly staff you could ever wish to meet. All the major sites are walkable, but taxi’s arrive in minutes, too, and are very affordable. Book your stay immediately!

First Class Service and Ambiance

Excellent location, lovely gardens and very attentive staff. We could not ask for more from the hotel. Within a couple of minutes and you are walking in the Vatican City, a few minutes in another direction and you're in the historical area. If we were to stay again I would request a garden view room.

Fantastic experience

What makes this hotel special is not its facilities, which are really fantastic, but its staff at all levels; from the first moment of check-in to the sad moment of check-out, passing through all the time during the stay, they care about making you feel different, special, solving problems, clarifying doubts, facilitating your stay in the Eternal City and causing your inevitable return in the not too distant future.

Great location but the room was a let-down!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We stayed here as part of a cruise extension in Rome. The location was central and convenient and the grounds and public spaces were lovely. The buffet breakfast each morning was excellent. Our room was very uncomfortable. It was cramped with no view. The bathroom and the commode/bidet were in separate rooms and if you weren’t careful your fingers would get smashed between the doors as you opened one. You could not easily open all the closet doors because one hit the bedside table before it was fully opened. The shower was a shower/tub combination, but the tub was rounded at the bottom, so standing in it while showering was very precarious and seemed like a real fall hazard. One wall of the bathroom was a window looking into the room. You could pull the shade down for privacy, but why would anyone want that?

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Without a doubt the best hotel we have stayed in Europe, the attention to detail was impeccable. We stayed four nights during our stay in Rome. The jewel in the crown of this hotel has to be the staff be it the front desk to the bar staff to the orderlies - very professional yet very welcoming. Marta at the concierge desk was just a star with some very good recommendations be it restaurants or places to visit. The ambience at the Amara bar was so relaxing after a long day sightseeing the wonders that Rome offers. Would highly recommend dining at the fine dining restaurant called Follie - an Italian food experience of a very high standard. We will definitely be back to Rome & we will rebook the same hotel given the exceptional experience we enjoyed
