Reviews for Grand Hotel Via Veneto
Staff were above excellent, helpful, courteous and very professional. We had building noise from an adjacent property. The Manager moved us to another part of the hotel AND he upgraded us to a suite. This impressed us as it wasn't his hotel causing the noise. The amenities are very very good. Would definitely stay there again and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel as the place to stay if visiting Rome. Art Nouveau is prominent in this hotel.
The hotel is in prime location and that is the main reason behind the cost of staying there as apart from that the actual hotel is no way near a 5* L as they claim it to be. Overall the hotel is nice, rooms are well laid out, clean, luxurious bathrooms with decent amenities, good fitness center and pleasant lobby but once again it is not up to the standards of what you'd expect for the amount of money you are paying. The service (as in all of Rome) is terrible. The restaurant upstairs is one of the worse I've ever seen, amateur waiters, poor food and outrageous prices. A 32ml coke is 12 Euros!? 2 frozen lobsters, an 800 gr tasteless chateaubriand and a small dessert (no alcohol) came up to 375 Euros. I really don't understand how they can offer such a mediocre meal, it's ridiculous. There plenty of better options to stay in Rome rest assured. I will never go back.

This is a modern, sophisticated beautifully finished hotel. But what makes it 5 stars is the warm, friendly, very competent staff who made us feel absolutely welcome and looked for ways to make the stay better. Definitely have a drink and dinner at the rooftop restaurant...deserves its ranking. Location perfect. Breakfast was very good. Definitely stay here!

We stayed with our teens at this hotel in Rome. Fantastic location, luxurious room, great recommendations from the very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff! We were in Rome during a heat wave so the excellent air conditioning was very important to us. The rooftop restaurant was delicious and beautiful and considering it was the hotel restaurant, very well priced for the wonderful meal we had. Highly recommend!
