Grand Hotel Via Veneto in Rome, Italy

There are few locations in Rome more divine than Via Veneto-- that boulevard of sumptuous shopping and to-die-for dining. It's no wonder that Grand Hotel Via Veneto is right at home in this superb, cosmopolitan setting. A meticulously restored Art Deco landmark, this urban haven is a connoisseur's dream, boasting precious Macassar ebony and Brazilian rosewood detailing. Natural daylight drifts through the cupola dome into the warm and welcoming lobby, while signature Italian and French styling take the guest rooms and suites to new heights of sophistication.

When not lingering in the shops and cafés of your neighborhood avenue, you can stroll to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. The entire city is at your disposal, as you venture out to discover the Sistine Chapel, The Colosseum, and the masterpieces of the Galleria Borghese. You might explore the underground catacombs of the Appian Way, or spend an evening people watching at the Pantheon. Whether you're a foodie, a culture vulture or a shopaholic, Rome is sure to satisfy your every craving.

We were very happy with this hotel. Beautiful and well decorated. Room was spacious and well appointed and VERY quiet. Bed could have been softer and higher (was very low). Staff was for the most part very friendly and accommodating in particular door men and reception staff, actually all staff except for the two concierges we spoke to. Excellent location. Breakfast included was fabulous but would recommend they start it at 6am since so many tours pick you up at 7am so we had to miss our breakfast several mornings. Overall very happy, will return and do recommend to others!

Beautiful art deco hotel.Small enough to have a friendly feel about it. The staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble-from the Concierge to the porter staff to the bar and restaurant. The lobby bar was understaffed once or twice, but that wasn't their fault- just not enough staff. The management should look at that. The Junior Suite we pre paid for was not large, but very comfortable. The art pieces in the hotel are really stunning - not all original, but great to observe. Breakfast good, food in the lobby and casual restaurant was very good.

Amazing hotel in a lovely area, easy walk from the train station and to the main sights. Impressive breakfast selection. Would recommend you eat at the hotel restaurant which was one of the best meals I've ever had.
