Located a short distance from the top of the Spanish steps. This ornate hotel with high service oriented staff, beautifully appointed guest room and bathroom. Wonderful breakfast buffet and view a highlight of the hotel. DInner in the their overly expensive Mirabella restaurant had gorgeous night view of the Vatican City, when we pushed to be seated on the balcony. The food was very disappointing - $170 for two of us eating fish with one glass of wine and no desserts. The piano player was a talented cover singer and the wait staff very service oriented and delightful.

For the 5 star standards, the hotel is actually between average and poor. The rooms are very small, the carpet is old, which is not very good for people who have allergies. Wont stay there the next time.

hotel is not inexpensive but worth every penny -- we had a junior suite overlooking the Borghese gardens with a huge terrace. Hotel was perfect in every way. One of the few hotels with sufficient lighting. A most upscale experience.

This was a wonderful hotel near Spanish Steps. The staff were wonderful, rooms spacious for Europe and a great location. The breakfast was fabulous with a perfect view. Spacious bathroom with a huge tub and great shower head - important to us Americans... So nice to stay in a charming hotel instead of a chain. Makes the trip to Rome so much more enjoyable!
