Perfect Hotel for Rome City Break

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My Aunt and I spent 3 nights in this hotel and it was perfect! Excellent City location with stunning views from the terrace for breakfast and an evening meal. The staff are all so friendly and helpful! We both highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Stay in Rome

Great location! A good place to sleep while being busy to explore Rome! It’s a good distance from the train and metro station, which was perfect! The location is worth it all. The hotel room was good, nothing spectacular. There is also a beautiful rooftop bar overlooking the city.

Great location, friendly staff, and wonderful hotel. Close to the train station, easily walk to points of interest, restaurants and shopping. Breakfast each morning on the terrace was the perfect way to start our day. Delicious food and great selection.

A good stay, too many restrictions though

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Generally, I like this hotel because of the location (walking distance to main train station and bus stops around), which means I can visit the attractions easily. The services were alright, though they were not smiley folks, no greetings (except for the lobby guy). Don’t feel welcome in this hotel. Lastly, no mention in hotel description that there was no air- conditioning or fan till May, not possible to open window for ventilation as it was noisy from the vehicles driving past, cannot bring outside food or drinks into the room, cannot take photo from the rooftop bar if I didn’t intend order from the menu. Too much restriction, so I only ordered fresh towels daily, I didn’t want to have room cleaning.

Pleasant time.

Upgraded to a room overlooking the church and very happy with it. Whilst noisy with the window open, closing it and no noise at all. Room large enough. Bathroom and shower was perfect, no complaints. Bed was comfy, perfect for me but not the wife. Everyone is different. Front desk helpfull with concierge on hand all the time to assist. Breakfast was great. For me scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown with toast. Never ran out either, first hotel ever! Huge range of fruit, hams & cheese as well. Coffee & juice plentiful (carrot & orange juice a first for me). Location was ideal for termini, Hop On bus and tram (trams go nowhere that you want though). Coffee & tea in room but no milk! Was available from reception if needed. Down side. The restaurant is on the roof and is 1.5 flights of stairs up. Worth reaching but could be a problem if you have trouble walking. There was a sign for a disabled lift but didn't actually see it. Worth checking with the hotel if disabled. Yes, I would return.
