Reviews for Residenza di Ripetta
Residenza di Ripetta was an awesome find from Tripadvisor. The location can't get any better, in the heart of Rome yet a lane away from the noise and chaos. A 5-10 mins walk to Spanish steps, Via Del Corso, the metro, bus stops and a stones throw away from shopping and the eateries. We stayed in a 2 bedroom family suite and it was very comfortable and I loved the old town, english look and feel. Not a cookie cutter hotel, you have to enjoy the experience of this place. The staff was extremely warm, professional and helpful. Do not miss the exotic and elaborate buffet breakfast

Where do I start. We paid for 5 nights and a suite overlooking the courtyard. Our first "suite" had a dirty wall that hadn't been painted in years and it overlooked the back garbage dump. The next room overlooked an alley/street--not the courtyard. Worse yet the air conditioning was broken in the bedroom. In late June it was unbearable. Second night they put us in a suite still not facing the courtyard. Two stories --but upstairs where the bedroom is located is unbelievably hot and sleeping is very difficult. My sisters have rooms nearby on the same floor. Same problems. And one of my sister's had a room with a window which was totally blocked with green film so in essence she had no window. The carpet and furniture needs to be thrown out or burned. The entire hotel is a real disappointment. The only positive is the location, but quite frankly, the negatives outweigh the positives because it's a 2-3 star hotel at best masquerading as a 4 star hotel. I would NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN--we are dreading 3 more night of this. Even though we paid we are considering leaving and objecting on our credit card. That bad. And I have never written a negative review before this. I just had to in order to share how bad it has been for us.

this hotel location was great. couple minutes walk to the spanish steps, and shopping in the area. wifi was slow and AC in the room was not working. we werent in the room long for me to change the rooms but it was an inconvenience for sure as it was hot.
We couldn't have been more pleased with this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and very roomy. Our room, on the 3rd floor, faced a courtyard and avoided any street noise. The location is close to major attractions (2 blocks from the Piazza del Popolo), steps from the Via del Corso with great shopping, near the Spanish Steps, and convenient to several wonderful restaurants. The service at the hotel was impeccable! There is a convenient cab stand in the Piazza, but the hotel was always quick to order us a cab from the hotel itself. Ate once at the hotel dining room, and it was very good. Can't comment on the cost because the stay was part of a tour package. We would definitely go back the next time we visit Rome.

Super central just off piazza Del Popolo. Rooms are absolutely huge and and very comfortable, breakfast is simple but good. I love the fact that you can walk everywhere from here, lots of shops and restaurants close to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again next time round.
