Reviews for Residenza di Ripetta
Stayed in this hotel in feb for a short break for my girlfriends Christmas present. From the moment I walked in we were greeted promptly and politely a gentleman carried our bags to the room. The room was massive clean and looked luxurious. Can't say a bad word about this hotel everything was perfect. Thank you for a great stay.
This is a really well positioned little hotel. It is in generally good condition and easy to get to from the airport. Its close to Piazza di Popolo and within 10 mins of the Spanish Steps, Fontana di Trevi and the Pantheon. Getting to the Vatican Museum, St Peters and Castel Sant Angelo is a little longer (<30 mins to the Museum) but they are easy walks. There are so many shops and good little restaurants to access within 10 mins walk (4 within 1 minute!) that you cannot complain. The rooms are good size with a separate sitting area from the bedroom and not excessively expensive - beware though the beds are firm but if you are used to a soft bed you may take a night or two to get used to them. Very friendly staff who all speak English. This was the case in nearly everywhere I went as well and all signs are in Italian and English, other nationalities and languages were rarely seen. A very practical comfortable hotel.

We (a family of two adults and three teens) stayed at the hotel for a weekend. The room had two floors, with one bedroom at the ground floor and the other on the upper floor. This was a perfect setup, giving the teen girls a floor to themselves! From check in to check out, the service was excellent. Very friendly and service minded. The breakfast was really good as well, not just the normal italian style breakfast but also scrambled eggs and bacon, caprese and other nice things. Only bad about the breakfast is the tables, why use plastic tables? Every time someone sat down, the chair bumps in a bit at the table and coffee or juice is spilled... I'd advice the hotel to get a bit more robust tables there. Otherwise top notch!! FInally, the hotel location is very nice indeed. Close to everything.
Location couldn't be better. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and very clean, felt like home. Breakfast was very complete, included gluten free. Wifi was terrible but it was the same elsewhere. Definitely recommend this place!!

It's not a bad idea to stay in hotels decorated like here when you travel to Rome but it's a bit old which I'm not so used to it. The location is good and when we arrived after a long flight we could do an early checkin at 11:30 which I really liked about them. Coffee/tea kit(all hotels offer two bottles of water for free but here was different)was not in our room and we had to pay for it which sounded a little strange and also wifi didn't work properly for my roommates and they had to fix it several times. To sum up,I got a good impression from my stay in the hotel and only some of the staff.
