Reviews for Residenza di Ripetta
We couldn't have been more pleased with this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and very roomy. Our room, on the 3rd floor, faced a courtyard and avoided any street noise. The location is close to major attractions (2 blocks from the Piazza del Popolo), steps from the Via del Corso with great shopping, near the Spanish Steps, and convenient to several wonderful restaurants. The service at the hotel was impeccable! There is a convenient cab stand in the Piazza, but the hotel was always quick to order us a cab from the hotel itself. Ate once at the hotel dining room, and it was very good. Can't comment on the cost because the stay was part of a tour package. We would definitely go back the next time we visit Rome.

Super central just off piazza Del Popolo. Rooms are absolutely huge and and very comfortable, breakfast is simple but good. I love the fact that you can walk everywhere from here, lots of shops and restaurants close to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again next time round.

I was fortunate to stay at this hotel in March 2017. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious, clean, and very nice. We enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast each morning that offered a wide selection of fruits, meats, eggs, yogurt, pastries, and more. It is walking distance to the Spanish Steps, other attractions and shopping. I cannot say enough good things about this place. You won't be disappointed.

Really enjoyed this property--nice-sized room, quiet inner courtyard (bar), a little more private (Via Ripetta), yet close to all the major attractions (Spanish Steps, shopping, central city). Excellent value.

We recently spent a week in Rome. We stayed in this hotel for the full week. It is an older building. It is a former convent and school for girls. It definitely has that "Rome" feel and gets you in the mood for beautiful Rome. The staff was friendly and helpful. All speak English. Breakfast is served daily with a great variety. They also have cappuccino and espresso! Just ask. Our room was a superior with a fold out couch and two twin beds. It was comfortable enough for 3 people. The location was perfect! Only a block away from piazza de popolo and a taxi stand. Across the street, and in the neighboring streets were wonderful restaurants! The only downside of this hotel was the lack of Internet and tv. While there is free wifi in the room, it is very slow. You are better off going into the public area near the lobby. The cable on the tv was usually out of service while we were there. We also had no AC while we were there. I don't know if it was because it was spring and they don't put it on this early, or if because it is an old building, they always have issues. But the window opened and the nights were cool, so it wasn't a problem for us.
