Reviews for Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese
Arrived in Rome as the first city on our multi-city trip through Italy. Definitely a great location near the Spanish steps. Took advantage of that to walk around the city from there. Beautiful rooms and great service. Staff was very friendly. There is a great restaurant/bar at the top with a view of the city. Definitely recommend it to others. We came as a family.

Was recommended to check out this hotel as it was cheaper than another 5 star hotel nearby. Turned out to be a good decision, as we thoroughly enjoyed the stay here. The hotel was kind enough to Ensure that we were allowed to check in early before noon (through prior request). Rooms come with free wifi, bath tub, nice balcony with view of the street. Although there was no gym, highly propose to go for a run round the neighbourhood, as the Villa Borghese Park is just next to it and the zoo is at the far end. The rooftop restaurant offer a great view of the city and it opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thumbs up!

After spending a disappointing night at Sofitel London Heathrow, I was not expecting much. However the staff were very helpful and polite. The rooms very nice and roof top beautiful. The meal was great and would recommend. Close to the centre and Uber for me was the best way to travel.
We stayed here on the 24-27th of February 2018. we were due to stay till the 28th but came home a day early as it was snowing were we live and in Rome and we decided not to risk being stuck. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful and the rooms were lovely. There are five of us so that meant two rooms. we had asked for adjoining rooms but instead we had two separate rooms that had there own corridor witch joined the main corridor by a door witch worked perfectly. We were unsure weather to go for the breakfast in the hotel or not but we did and Im really glad we did as it was lovely. It really suited us the eggs Benedict was lovely and the croissants gorgeous. The breakfast was on the top floor and had a lovely view of Rome you could see the Vatican. My only complaint was that it was cold at breakfast but having said that there was a foot of snow just beyond the glass and was very cold everywhere as it was the worst snow in twenty six years and no one was prepared. I’d say it would have been lovely during the summer. The second day of the snow they moved the breakfast to the ground floor as they realized it was very cold on the top floor. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for a couple of nights staff were really friendly(we were celebrating a birthday on the night we arrived they realized while checking passports and called up to our room offering us free drinks ), amazing views, great breakfast+dinner and in walking distance of a lot of the land marks and a lot of nice restaurants. The picture is the view you had while eating breakfast on the top floor of the hotel (it was snowing)
