We stayed at the hotel for 1 week. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful during our entire stay. We were so lucky to get an instant upgrade to a room with a view to a baroque church, not to mention about the welcome champagne and farewell gift, plus the daily chocolate treats. Given we didn't know any Italian, the concierge helped us make dinner reservations at several unique restaurants. The hotel is currently under renovation, but it didn't affect our experience. The finished lobby is absolutely gorgeous. We had afternoon tea and aperitifs there. The hotel is located in the area that is not very touristy, but it's convenient to access to many places of interests. I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoy exceptional hotel service in Rome.

We stayed here 4 nights. The staff could not have been greater. Every single person we met felt genuine and the service was top notch. It was professional without being stuffy, kind without being too informal. I can say it was the singular best staff experience I have ever had at a hotel. While the lobby renovation is beautiful, I wouldn't stay here again until I could stay in an updated room. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. But it definitely feels dated. More than that, things in the room didn't seem to work properly. For example, the TV power on button didn't work so I had to press and hold the sometimes-working power button on the TV itself. We had warm (not hot) water in the shower, bath, and faucet. I didn't contact them about the water since we figured it was a universal issue for water and not a shower-specific issue. However, I now feel like I should have since having a hot shower is something I expect of even the lowest ranked hotels. So, I would stay here again, but only once I could be confirmed in an updated room. The experience was lovely, but the basics in the room need to be addressed (I'm assuming the renovation will do this) before it is worth the price. The staff was lovely in recognizing my mother's upcoming birthday. In addition, when she became sick and had to stay in for the day instead of exploring Rome, they offered to bring her tea and said they could set up an English-speaking doctor within 1.5 hours if needed. Again, the service here is the BEST. I hope to be able to stay here again one day once the rooms are updated!

We had two rooms at the St. Regis for 5 nights in March 2018. The hotel recently completed a renovation of the entire lobby/restaurant/bar and it is absolutely stunning. The breakfast at the hotel is amongst the best and service is a 10. We had butler service throughout our stay and we couldn't have been happier. The rooms are also super quiet and very relaxing. We also enjoyed the champagne sabering ritual each night at 7PM. All of us loved The St. Regis Rome. The location is perfect and the entire staff were lovely. Highly recommend this hotel!

I'm a Platinum member, so I've stayed in my fair share of hotels - some good, some not so good. The St. Regis Rome is one of the best, if not the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The lobby/bar area is beautiful and newly renovated. The room I stayed in was not yet renovated, but it was still spotless. The staff also were excellent, from the housekeepers to the reception. Breakfast was included with my Platinum membership, and I can definitively say that it is the best hotel breakfast that I have ever had. The offerings were very expansive and all food was fresh and tasty. The juicer was also a nice touch. I also had dinner in the bar, and the food was very good. I look forward to returning to the hotel in the future, especially once the renovations are complete.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, it has a classy old European style. The room was large with beautiful renaissance style - paintings, bedding, wall paper, drapes, furniture and fixtures. The champagne bar area is very nice and I would highly recommend seeing the sabering of a bottle which kicks off every evening. The gym facilities were used multiple times and were sufficient. The gym is accessed via a cool, old open/exposed elevator. The hotel was undergoing renovation which we knew going into our stay. Not a criticism but we did see and hear the work being done, it is not enough to deter you if thinking about staying here.
