We've traveled extensively, and this is one of the most outstanding hotels we have stayed in globally and in Rome. The service was incredible, hotel is immaculate. Highly recommend and will stay here next time in Rome.

We absolutely loved our week long visit at the St Regis and would love to return on our next visit to Rome. It is a lovely historic hotel with a beautiful lobby. It is well air conditioned in the lobby and rooms (not in the tiny historic elevators). This was super important during the current heat wave. We had two adjoining rooms with a pretty blue and white decor. The room with the king sized bed had a great bathroom with a nice shower. The room with the twin beds had an unfortunate large tub with a small shower that had weak water pressure, had the stopper under the shower head so when you stepped on it - it blocked the drain so that the water would rise. It also had a glass door that was movable so you had to take care not to lean on it. We all just took turns using the large shower in the king room so were not bothered. The beds were extremely comfortable, the pillows and linens of good quality. The towels were fluffy. The windows are constructed so you generally do not hear any traffic at all. The walls are constructed so no neighbors bother you. This is so unusual and wonderful. Along with the well working air conditioning (except for a few hours of service on hotel electricity one afternoon) it served to allow us the best sleep I have had in a hotel in a very long time. Ten stars for that. Also nice was that we were given champagne, chocolate, fruit and waters in cans. The cleaning staff do a great job and everything was spotless. They kindly remembered not to spray any room air freshener. However, it must be said that they often ignored the do not disturb privacy sign/light when we were napping mid day and would ring the bell and start to enter the rooms. This morning I woke up to loud knocking on the door before 8 am. That was really my only major complaint during the visit. We had a butler who was nice but we only asked for coffee twice so did not really use his services. We did use the hotel driver a few times. He is on a first come first serve basis so if you are lucky you may get to use him a few times. Nice guy. We ate breakfast and lunch in the lobby often. We did not do the buffet. The staff, especially the pretty ladies in their designer skirts were very polite and efficient. The food was average. The staff in general are very kind and friendly. The location is good. You can walk or find transportation to most things you are interested in doing in Rome. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were very fortunate to stay at The St Regis for a few nights before our cruise and it did not disappoint. The service and attention to detail was immaculate throughout our stay. Overall our experience was fantastic, luxurious and elegant. Highly recommended

My wife and I have had the pleasure of staying at high-end hotels around the world for the lat 25 years. The St. Regis Rome was probably the pinnacle of all our past experiences. Unsurpassed staff, spectacular room, not a thing out of place, And not a single issue of even minor consequence arose during our entire visit. We've never experienced more friendly and helpful personnel, special kudos to server Marah and hostess Giorgia in the Lumen Restaurant. If you're going to Rome this is simply THE place to stay.

St. Regis Rome provided the best hotel stay that my family has ever had. From the moment we were welcomed at check-in, the experience was perfect in every way. We recently stayed for a few nights on either end of a side trip to another region of Italy, and the entire staff - from the head of guest relations to housekeeping - made it feel like our home away from home. We will never stay anywhere else in Rome, and plan to include Rome in our 2027 Italy trip specifically to come back to see our friends at the St. Regis. I could rave about this hotel for days, so here are a few highlights from our stay: -The hotel is perfectly located and convenient to so much that Rome has to offer, yet not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. It's a quiet hotel, and it feels very calm. -The lobby is gorgeous and inviting, and our restaurant experience was wonderful. The food and drinks were delicious, and they have great cocktails and wine list. The service for breakfast, lunch, aperitivo and dinner was unmatched - a VERY special thank you to Pietro and Sonya, who really made us feel like family every day. They were exceptionally gracious with my clunky Italian (studio l'italiano, ma non lo parlo bene) and went out of their way to make my kids feel welcome - extra candies and croissants, fresh squeezed juices, hot chocolate, I could go on. We were so happy to see them every day, and sad to say goodbye. -My daughter lost her favorite stuffy on the first day of our trip, and every single person we spoke to about the problem was so kind. They were very understanding, and went above and beyond in their efforts to search for the stuffy and to make sure that my daughter knew that her concerns were valid and she was being heard. They presented her with an adorable wolf stuffy with a St. Regis Rome hoodie, and when we returned after our side trip the assistant manager (unfortunately, her name is escaping me) brought my daughter a giraffe stuffy that she has not stopped hugging since returning home. She also gave my older son an awesome St. Regis Rome hat that he's been wearing non-stop. -Room was beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable - great A/C, luxurious toiletries and perfect housekeeping services each day. They quickly set up the extra bed that we requested and left us several special little treats and surprises throughout our stay.
