The St. Regis Rome

My parents and I found ourselves at the Lumen bar in St.Regis by pure accident during our stay in Rome. Thanks to Pietro, we had such an exceptional experience that we came back two more times. Although we were not guests of the hotel, Pietro made us feel at home and treated us like family. Our time spent at the St Regis ended up being a highlight of our trip and one of the best experiences in service and hospitality that I have ever had.

We stay at St. Regis properties whenever we can, and while we’ve been lucky enough to visit some truly incredible destinations, we honestly didn’t expect the St. Regis Rome to be this amazing. This is the first St. Regis property that we stayed at that wasn’t a tropical resort destination so while we knew we’d have a lovely time given the St. Regis brand, we didn’t expect to love it as much as the tropical ones we’ve stayed at. The beauty of this hotel far exceeds what the pictures show, it’s absolutely stunning in person. The staff was absolutely lovely. All so kind, attentive, and genuine. You can tell they truly care about making your stay special. The location is perfect, you can walk to everything. The food is delicious at Lumen, the breakfast buffet is insane. Drinks are amazing, and the overall atmosphere is just incredible. We originally stayed here for just one night at the beginning of our trip, but we loved it so much that when we returned to Rome after visiting Sardinia, we ended up cancelling our other hotel just so we could stay here again. That’s how much we loved it. We can’t wait to come back!

The St. Regis Rome is a very special hotel. From the staff to the rooms, 5 stars all the way. The location is perfect for both business people and vacationers. I’ve had the pleasure of staying at many St. Regis locations around the world and this one is unique and in a class all of its own. My only constructive feedback is that they should limit the Hooker Karaoke night to one night per month. On 9/16 my wife and I had the “pleasure” of witnessing such an event during dinner. Not for the faint of heart, but we endured… LOL

I had to wait to write this review because I was at The St. Regis Roma in June and now September. Everytime we come here it gets better and better. My friends this time were equally impressed. It was their favorite hotel throughout our journey through Greece and Italy. Why? The hotel itself. It has sentimental value for me since I visited 25 years ago when it was Le Grand Hotel. I brought my son to see his family from Italy, and we arrived here. It was so grandeur as it is today. They treated him like royalty and he was only 8…from then on St. Regis Roma❤️set the standard for my son. Now coming back year after year, I have the benefit of sharing my favorite hotel to my family and friends, the St. Regis never did appoints. The lobby is gorgeous, murano chandelier, well appointed furniture and great, service! We love to people watch here and talk to the wonderful staff. The breakfast is served here. Its a divine experience. The staff: Pietro, who has been here for 30 years, is wonderful, attentive and passionate about his work! Giulio is one of the managers who cared so much about our stay, he called me in his day off. Plus he assisted us with arrangements. He is awesome. Salvatore, so much passion, funny. Attentive , we love and thank you for making my friends stay even warmer than the weather! The bell staff were great, butlers , concierge and reception. Last but not least, Giuseppe, the GM is one of the best GM’s out there. I travel extensively and I only say this about a handful, if not a couple. Giuseppe really cares about his property and his team. How do I know , because it shows throughout every response, the grounds… Location is real good, walking distance to many attractions. They have a car service too. Thank you thank you grazie! Best stay ever!!!

Carolina, the restaurant manager, made the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had. But she didn’t stop there, she personally took care of my sister and brother , like we were family, for dinner ( she also has an impressive wine knowledge). Roman at the bar makes an awesome old fashions. Salvatore and Miquel and Alexa filled in where needed. The DJs music selection, and meeting Diego, just made the night so memorable. Lastly, Andrea’s top hat and genuine smile greeted us as we entered and left the property. We will return soon DJ Johnny Bones and The Ganci family!
