LOOKING FORWARD TO OUR NEXT STAY
Our travel agent has recommended this great establishment several times. This time we listened, took the recommendation and enjoyed a fabulous stay. We should have listened before! We truly enjoyed this jewel in Rosebank, Johannesburg. Everything was to our liking, the welcome, the staff, the lobby, our super nice room, the breakfast and – on top - the perfect location in a safe neighborhood with multiple shopping and dining options close by. Usually we list areas with ‘room for improvement’, but here we found no such shortcomings. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended. Thanks to the entire team working hard and professionally to give the guests a true ’54 on Bath’ feeling.

Great location for a safe stay
Arrived at hotel early. Paid a little extra for early check in which was worth it. Room a bit dark but bed super comfortable and nice and cool with view of pool. Used the inside access to mall which felt super safe. Enjoyed open top bus and some nice restaurants very close by. The hotel’s outside bar was lovely and we would eat there next time. Breakfast was nice and we enjoyed our stay. They organised pick up and drop off to airport. Special mention to the fantastic doorman. Super helpful and friendly. A real gentleman.

Best Hotel Ever!
This was the BEST Hotel we have stayed at and probably the best in SA! The attention to detail is impeccable. The service incomparable. The rooms are exquisite offering to your every need and treat 😊 The food exceptional with Sous Chef Lungile, his specialized signature of blue cavier made it memorable and never to forget experience! Well Done to Nathan McMiles (GM) & his team for an unforgettable weekend!

Outstanding
This definitely the nicest Johannesburg Hotel I have stayed in . Firstly super position and walking distance to restaurants and a shopping centre . The decor is refined and elegant with beautiful flowers arrangements all over. Secondly top notch staff from the door man to the restaurant to the reception. We were upgraded to an executive suite with a lounge , dining area and substantial bedroom . We loved the beautiful bed linen and luxurious towels ,plus there were loads of lovely touches like homemade chocolates, macrons; savoury snacks and great coffees. I would recommend having breakfast as it was substantial and delicious plus you can sit in the garden too . This definitely is a must visit .

An unexpected but very pleasant surprise
We were not expecting to stay here as we were caught up in the flight mayhem of the war conflict . Whilst that was inconvenient we could not have asked to be put up in a better hotel. It is an elegant hotel with great food and service, especially the breakfast. We also were comforted from the safety aspect as the hotel has direct private access to a large shopping mall where there are many restaurants. The hotel does not have gym facilities on site but has complimentary access to Moove gym also in the mall. I would loved to have used the hotel lap pool but it was far too cold. My only slightly negative comment is that it seems to take a long time to service the rooms as it happens in stages and the nightly turn down only worked for us once on our 4 night stay as it was so late and we wanted earlier nights. That said we would definitely return and we will recommend it. to friends wishing to stay in Johannesburg.
