Modern, recently built hotel. Very modern room with large terrace. View of the water off to side in our room but still enjoyed some time out on the terrace. Rooms is large and so is the bathroom. Good air conditioning. Very nice breakfast buffet. Also had dinner in one of the restaurants and found food good, if a bit too healthy. did not use spa but walked through it and was very clean and modern. About a 15 minute walk to old town split but in October, the weather is cool and so a very enjoyable walk

I really liked the hotel. Position, facilities, breakfast and pleasant staff really make it worth staying there. Rooms are spacious and king size beds are very comfortable providing good night sleep. The distance from the centre of the city is in the range of "nice walk".

Overall, hotel is a great peace of modern architecture, with very cozy rooms, nice wellness. But for 5 stars I expected more. Breakfast is very average, without creativity. We had very unprofessional waitress at the dinner, so all the magic of great food was gone. We took a whole package where they promise early chech in and better rooms, none of those happend. We arrived at 1 pm and we couldn't check in at 3 pm, room was without sea or pool view, just up the entrance of night club and it was very loud on Saturday night till 3 am.

Loved the hotel and the surroundings! But temporary disadvantage: Noise from construction, even on Saturday till 3 pm, and on Sunday. The hotel staff (untrained kids) don't really know how to handle this, they just say it's not their fault :) Train the personnel some more, and better still, make sure that there is no construction noise around a luxury hotel on weekends!

We stayed here for nine nights in September, and while the weather was disappointing, the hotel provided the perfect respite. Lone is not a cosy hotel, it's a design hotel which has a futuristic feel and at times can feel pretty soulless. But, for us, seeking to get away from the world, it was perfect. It's close to Rovinj so we could walk in whenever we wanted, it had a lovely stone beach, the pool facilities were good and the forest was beautiful. I'm not sure I'd stay for as long next time, but I'd stay for a couple of nights if I was visiting Rovinj.
