We spent 4 lovely nights at Hotel Monte Mulini for relaxation between a hiking trip in Slovenia and a biking trip in Croatia. The hotel was perfect. The room was well appointed with a lovely view. The staff was most attentive to all of our needs. The Concierge helped us locate perfect restaurants and had many suggestions for delightful day trips appropriate to our requests. We used the spa services and were pleased with our treatments. We also used the gym and found it to be well equipped, clean and not busy. The breakfasts were a bounty of well presented and prepared items on the buffet. We also appreciated the items available to order. Overall this was a very positive experience.

This is quite simply one of the best hotels we have stayed in ever …… and we have been lucky enough to have stayed in many 5 Star resorts around the world. It’s smooth running, calm welcoming atmosphere is a delight from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave! We stayed here for 10 days and loved every minute. The rooms with balconies are large, peaceful, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Turn down is a nice touch too with chocolates or other gifts. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beautiful old town of Rovinj, and the grounds and pool are perfect. What makes the hotel extra special is simply the staff. They are wonderful, respectful, engaging and helpful. Waiting staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Meals in the restaurant were fantastic. Quite simply we cannot praise the hotel and staff enough and we would love to return. N.B. Accepting the hotel have limited influence in this area, if you want to avoid a particularly loud time of year, avoid the Rovinj, Sun, Sea and Salsa Festival time at the end of June. It’s best suited to youngsters with a penchant for partying and dancing.

This hotel isn't part of the Leading Hotels group out of nothing - expect the best and you'll get it. I stayed sadly one night only with my wife, but still had an incredible time. Rooms are impeccable, views are terrific, service is incredible and even breakfast was one of a kind. We stayed on the top floor (3rd, I guess), with an incredible view of the lone bay just south of Rovinj. We also booked a wine & olive oil tasting plus a brief spa session, both of which were really really good; we even got to spend some time with the sommelier and the chefs of the Wine Vault restaurant, which is also an experience on its own - don't miss the tasting menu by any chance! We weren't able to enjoy the grounds (pool & beach) as much as we wanted, but everything looked awesome and the beach is incredibly pleasant. Last but not least: breakfast also stands out. Great selection on the buffet is complemented by a long list of hot dishes (we had the egg white frittata), and to have it with the view of the lone bay also made us not want to leave!

My wife and I are just back from a stay at the Hotel Monte Mulini in Rovinj and what a wonderful experience we had. We've been to some lovely hotels and places over the years and always wonder if our next destination will be as good as previous ones. Monte Mulini didn't disappoint and was beyond our expectations and being located in the beautiful town of Rovinj we had a memorable two weeks. For us, Monte Mulini impressed us in all aspects of service, accommodation, staff and setting. We stayed on a B&B basis which allowed us to experience and enjoy the huge variety of restaurants nearby but our breakfasts on the terrace were a perfect start to the day. We wanted to make a special mention and give thanks to Blazenka, Nada and Dino for all their kindness, care and service in the restaurant. All other members of staff in reception, pool and beach bars and housekeeping were attentive, friendly and helpful and were always on hand to provide assistance. Our room overlooked the pool area and bay and provided beautiful views especially at sunset and had a massive bed as well as a beautiful, large bathroom. Only one small gripe and that is that the evening turn down service sometimes tried to come in before 6-00pm. Maybe a later visit would provide peace to get ready for the evening? We will definitely return to Monte Mulini since the town and surrounding areas have so much more to be explored. We also had some special experiences which included the arrival of guests on several Harley Davidson motorbikes which were parked at the front of the hotel. We also had a similar time when some classic cars made a visit to the hotel on their classic car rally. And a first in that the hotel has its own falconer with a Harris Hawk to scare off the seagulls! Thank you to all the staff and management for making this such a memorable stay.
