Reviews for Hotel Monte Mulini

Breath-taking view

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 months ago

The location of this hotel is breath-taking. Also an easy 15-minute stroll along the beautiful "flat" coastal path into the Old Town. The hotel has free bikes to borrow; you can have them for as long as you like. We cycled through the wooded nature park to the left of the hotel and beyond the old town to the right. Breakfast in the hotel is served until 12; it includes a very extensive cold buffet plus hot-cooked food to order; there is ample choice. The bedrooms all face the bay; they are a good size and have huge bathrooms with Molton Brown toiletries. It is spotlessly clean, with very professional and friendly staff. In addition to the hotel spa, you also have free use of the large gym, sauna, and spa area, which are located in the hotel next door and can be accessed via a linked corridor from the Monte Mulini. I had a wonderful massage in the spa at the Monte Mulini. Very impressive lobby and bar area, with a beautiful terrace. Thank you, Monte Mulini, for making our stay so special. We hope to visit you again sometime soon.

Wonderful stay in a Stunning Hotel

Just got back from a 7 night stay and WOW what a wonderful Hotel. The location is great, its an easy 15 minute stroll along the beautiful "flat" coastal path into the Old Town. The Old Town is hilly with lots of quaint cobbled streets a few roads back from the harbour to explore. It has plenty of great restaurants, we found Sante Croce and Fondiaria to be particularly good. The Hotel has free bikes to borrow you can have them for as long as you like, we cycled through the wooded nature park to the left of the Hotel and beyond the Old town to the right. Breakfast in the Hotel is served until 12, it includes a very extensive cold buffet plus hot cooked food to order, theres ample choice. The bedrooms all face the bay, they are a good size and have huge bathrooms, with Molton Brown toiletories. The only downside for the rooms is they could do with a set of drawers for clothes storage. Theres a kettle with a varierty of different tea bags and they will give you milk from the restaurant. It is spotlessly clean with very professional friendly staff. In addition to the Hotels spa you also have free use of large gym, sauna and spa area which is located in the Hotel next door and can be accessed via a linked corridor from the Monte Mulini. I had a wonderful massage in the Spa at the Monte Mulini. Very impressive lobby and bar area, with beautiful terrace to have a drink and watch the sunset from. Wine and olive oil tasting in the Wine Vault was great. We also had a lovely surprise from the Hotel to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Thank you Monte Mulini for making our stay so special, we hope to visit you again sometime soon.

What a fabulous hotel!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about the Monte Mulini. My adult daughter and I stayed last week (in two rooms that were connected through a doorway; a fantastic and comfortable set-up). From the moment we arrived, everyone was super friendly and helpful. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous! The hotel interior, dining areas, pool, bar, views, are all beautiful. I thought the hotel seemed like a splurge when I booked it, but after being in such a luxurious setting and getting all the perks of the property - including an incredible breakfast buffet - it was a very good deal. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful hotel .....

My husband and I both thought this was one of nicest hotels we've stayed in, and we've been fortunate to have stayed in some lovely hotels around the World. The hotel is nestled into the hillside overlooking the bay and National Park, about a 20 min easy walk into Rovinj, with plenty of places to stop and take in the beautiful scenery. You'll also find lots of bars and restaurants along the way if you don't want to go into Rovinj itself. Our premium room on the ground floor was spacious, a large bathroom with nice toiletries and our balcony overlooked the pool and Bay. There was no problems finding a chair in the sun or shade around the pool. You could have breakfast on the terrace or inside. There was a good choice of fruit, cheeses, meat, fish, pastries etc and hot items cooked to order , they came very quickly so we ordered after we'd had our fruit. If you're looking for a relaxing peaceful hotel with beautiful views and helpful staff I would not hesitate to come here, highly recommended.
