Staff, food, wine, drink great. Property beautiful but our room was infested with mice and comparable room was not available so had to major downgrade. Bummer.

Staying here is always an outstanding experience. The site is beautiful, the service/rooms are perfection, and the food is amazing. This is truly a 5-star resort.

Auberge du Soleil is an establishment like no other. The setting unparalleled, rooms beautiful, the restaurant fantastic. What sets this place apart from the rest; is the staff and the pure detail and care in their hosting. They have elevated the “nothing is too much trouble”. They predict your needs before you’ve even thought about them. Whilst it is a costly stay, I can assure you that we felt it was worth it in every capacity. What a special place. My only concern is that I am now ruined and no other hotel will match the bar set by Auberge du Soleil.

The time I went they did not have clean water so could not drink water from faucets and there was no room service available. I was told that they tried to call me day of to let me know about the issue. By the time I arrived at the resort it was ~8pm and they said they tried to reach me, but that we did not have potable water. For the inconvenience, they offered me a $500 credit total (not per night), which for a $3000 per night room was completely absurd. Additionally, the kitchen and restaurant was closed because of no water and given the location there were no real food options available within 30 minutes. I ended up using one of their complementary cars (only reason I gave 2 stars versus 1) and drove into town at like 10pm to get fast food. Also, the room itself was underwhelming and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable. I am someone who has stayed at many high end resorts all over the world (Aman, Four Seasons, etc) and this was definitely not up to the caliber of other high end resorts. I would just stay at the Four Seasons across the street.
