About the Hotel

With its steepled roof, traditional carillon and symbolic cross, it would be easy to mistake Aranwa Sacred Valley as a place of worship. A jagged Peruvian mountaintop serves as the backdrop for this property, located in Urubamba, about a 30-minute drive from Cusco. Built on a plot of land where an 18th-century colonial hacienda once stood, this riverside hideaway, features a collection of historically-inspired rooms coupled with modern elements and a minimalist design. Architectural excellence abounds at every turn, from the glass-covered orchid pyramid to the 24-seat on-site theater.

Luxurious hotel in sacred valley

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Beautiful hotel in the Sacred Valley. Went as part of a Smithsonian Journeys tour. The facility is beautiful. We didn’t have time to use all the facilities (exercise, etc). The room was large and well appointed with a towel warmer and large tub and shower. We had dinner two nights and breakfast both days. The dinners were very nice with a nice atmosphere. The second night had a Peruvian woodwind player playing music. Did not try the wine or cocktails. Breakfast was a buffet that had an omelet station and many options. It was about an hour and a half from Cusco and an hour to Ollantaytambo to get the train to Aguas Callientes.

Amazing

Big rooms, nice atmosphere and very good food. Gllalbentes was a very good waiter knowing our names. The only problem was that the gym the machines especially the road wasn’t working well.

An Amazing Hotel!

Everything was amazing. The staff was super attentive. Gualberto and Eder both were particularly fantastic. Eder went out of his way to make sure my allergies were taken care of at dinner and the hotel itself has options for all of me and my girlfriend's dietary concerns, including ample gluten free options

Very nice isolated hotel which was a mansion from 17th century

Extremely pretty hotel with enough activities to do like cinema , gallery, pool, jacuzzi. Even the rooms had their own double jacuzzi which was a nice surprise.
