Top notch hotel. Should be rated as exceptional.

Truly a 5 star hotel. Staff and accomodations were outstanding. Our check in was flawless with the help of Trie. This man is managment material.

Best Time. Best service. Best memories!

Staying at Casa Monica was such a highlight of our trip! We were in town to celebrate my son’s 10th birthday and after speaking with the most amazing concierge Charlene a couple of days before we checked in, she pulled out all the stops when we arrived. Freshly baked cookies and milk for his room along with a lion stuffy and a pirate swag bag. The happiness and surprise she and the staff (they all signed a birthday card for him 🥹) gave my son was unmatched! Tre at the front desk also deserves a huge shout out. Every morning he greeted us with such enthusiasm and kindness. Both of my sons started their day with high fives and fist bumps from Tre and he also stopped at nothing in making them smile. Service and hospitality like how we received should be studied and applied at every hotel. The compassion that ALL of the staff showed us is something that we will never forget! Josh and Jake from the Cordova restaurant were also marvelous in service. They were very accommodating in my sort of unfamiliar coffee order every morning. (I love cortaditos and they made Great dups!) Overall, staying at the Casa Monica hotel in St. Augustine was nothing short of phenomenal. Could not have asked for a better experience and will be back just for this service as it is worth its weight in gold. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Disappointing Experience ,for sure.

Stayed here for several days in January. Had Cold water in shower and reported to front desk. Was eventually advised problem was fixed. Next morning-cold water again. Reported again ,result were the same. Ultimately decided to leave next morning and reported all upon checkout that our stay was very disappointing because of: No hot water ,EVER . Awful TV selection for an alleged upscale hotel. Also, unfortunately, extremely noisy as well. In our case, would recommend staying at another "resort" or hotel .

Perfect Location

We stayed here with 2 kids. We made the mistake of getting a standard room - it was tight. That said, the hotel is beautiful. We loved the fact the room was serviced twice / day (so we never had wet towels lying around). The restaurant was good… the valet and bellmen were nice. The room was slightly dated (carpet separated from the wall, cracks in the tub, leaky faucet, pool was lined and not tiled). Not a big deal whatsoever- but that’s the reason we can’t give 5 stars. Also, after checkout I had to ask for the folio 4 times which I found odd. We would absolutely stay here again as it was central to everything.

A disappointing stay

Although the guaranteed check in time is 4 p.m. a room was not made available until 4:45 pm. I had prepaid for a Premium Room. I was taken to a corner room on the second floor with window overlooking the pool. The smell of chlorine was nauseating and overpowering. I went back to the front desk, and was told there would be a further wait for other rooms becoming available. After about 20 minutes I was taken to a room on the third floor which was small and clearly not a premium room. Then I was taken to another room on the second floor and when the bellman opened the door he immediately turned around and said it smelled terrible. I was taken back to reception, and waited. A manager came over and asked what the problem was even though I had explained that I would not stay in a room smelling of chlorine (and it was not Clorox used by the maids to clean the room, as the Manager professed). At close to 5:30 I was taken to a room on the fourth floor overlooking the street, which was a premium room. There were no guides in the room (i.e. room service menu, checkout time information - nothing). Although a “resort fee” is charged there are no amenities in this property - no breakfast is served, no lobby shop or other amenities. If Starbucks had not been located in one corner of the property, there would have been no place for coffee. The interior is dark, damp and dingy. It is overpriced, and terrible. On the second day of our stay, the room had still not been cleaned at 4 pm when we returned. I would never stay in another “Autograph” property and am frankly surprised that this hotel is considered one.
