Good service and coffee , get rid of the the muzak
After a hard morning meandering the streets of St Augustine a welcome sight in such a lovely building. The place was very busy with a constant flow of students , we assume from the nearby college. The order we out in was prepared to our requirements and was one of the better coffees I have had from Starbucks of late. One negative , the muzak is dire

This hotel and the Kessler company deceived us.
The staff was confused and curt. The hotel did not warn visitors that the hotel was going under renovations. The pool was closed. Halls filled with paint fumes. We had two rooms; in one room, the bathroom sink was clogged; in the other room, the shower door was not installed correctly and the bathroom flooded. There was constant construction underway with saws, hammers etc going on until 5pm. In the restaurant, dinner selections were incorrect or took a long time to come. It was the worst experience I have had in 30 years of traveling across the United States. The Kessler company deceived us and I would warn everyone to book their trip elsewhere.

We ate at the wonderful steakhouse! The service (Isabella) was off the charts! The food was absolutely on point! Flavorful , balanced and cooked perfectly! The way the server described the food is what made the presentation so enjoyable. This place is a win on your visit!

Love it!!
Hotel is historic and decorated in Spanish Style as per the time period and matching the history of the city. The bed was very comfortable. We slept well. The staff members were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The pool area was nice & relaxing (could be bigger and deeper) . We loved having a Starbucks right downstairs. The hotel was clean and well kept. There is a restaurant in the lobby area but we did not eat there. The prices are a bit too high. We also checked out the Spa and the prices were pretty high there too. Overall it was a great experience. The hotel is currently being renovated and there were some inconveniences due to the construction but the hotel was very accommodating in ensuring we had the best experience. The hotel is located very close to Saint George’s street and walkable to most attractions. The location is great. Additionally they provide a beach bus daily and chairs & umbrellas upon arrival at the beach (these services must be arranged the day before at the front desk).
