Gabriel, Bryce and everyone else working at the Casa Monica was incredible! What a beautiful hotel and convenient to almost everything. We parked when we got here and then walked for the next 3 days, it was that close to everything. Highly recommend!

Want to say upfront that our massage therapists were fantastic, so this rating is not reflective of them. However, this is definitely not a luxury spa experience and the pricing is hard to justify for what’s offered. The “locker room” is essentially just a bathroom, there are no real spa amenities, and the only additional facility is a standard hotel pool. There was no relaxing or elevated atmosphere at all. The front desk staff also felt cold and inconvenienced by basic questions, which added to the overall disappointment. The massages themselves were good, but overall this felt more like a hotel add-on than an actual spa experience — especially at these prices.

This place has some nice things going for it. Great location, some aesthetic charm, friendly staff, good food in the restaurant and a quaint bar, and a Starbucks just off the lobby. That being said here are some of the things where it falls short of the Marriott standard you would ordinarily expect. The WI-FI is terrible. The shower is a dribble. The elevator is suspect. The lighting in the bathroom is like trying to shave in a closet. The wait staff in the restaurant, while very friendly, needs to be trained better in efficiency and common sense service. The place needs an update. I suspect that Marriott must certainly know all this but doesn’t spend the money to fix it because there’s no serious competition in this town so they can get away with coasting along as is….which is a shame because while money is certainly not nothing the fact is that your reputation is EVERYTHING.

Great for a quick get away in town. Greeted at Check in with Champagne flute and Water. booked via Bonvoy, got a nice upgrade to a corner king suite for our stay. Dinner at the Cordova was great. Location is central to all the spots you want to walk to.
