I love this hotel. The staff is absolutely wonderful & the views are breathtaking! I also love that it’s located away from all the main beach clubs so you can have a nice quiet & relaxing place to come back to! Highly recommend a day at their spa as well - it is the BEST on the island!

Professional and courteous staff. Breakfast buffet on the terrace caters to all ages and needs. The rooms are lovely. The pool has a beautiful view and shallow parts that are great for young children. The property is peaceful and maintained at the highest level.

Great place to getaway and relax

A great property to enjoy St Barths and soak in the magnificent views and sunsets. The property is very well kept. The sleeping rooms are comfortable, albeit a bit dated. The staff is very attentive although not as seasoned and experienced as you'd find Cheval Blanc or Eden Rock. The location is something to be desired, so if you do stay there be prepared to be remote and away from it all.

Awesome and Relaxing

There's a lot to love about Hotel Christopher Saint-Barth: first, its proximity to the airport if you decide to fly from San Juan or St. Martin. On that note, renting a car is extremely convenient in that the rental locations are literally steps away from the arrival area. We rented from Hertz. Concerning the hotel, we found all of the reception staff (including the valets) to be extremely welcoming, polite, and consistently helpful. It's worth mentioning Olivia, Thibault, and Melodie in that regard, but everyone was terrific. The servers at the main restaurant, Rivyera, were also warm and very service oriented. We ate breakfast every day and we received excellent service from Laura, Clara, Manon, Julia and others. Those who serviced the pool area were excellent as well. I don't remember his name, but the bartender at breakfast was consistently friendly and warm. He always greeted us with a friendly "Bonjour" and a smile. :-) Our room was spacious and cleaned extremely well twice a day (Room 122). We had two, small issues which were remedied within minutes of calling the front desk. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was great. The bathtub was also spacious, and therefore comfortable. The pool was well placed in a setting near the ocean. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. Dipping and swimming in what was a very clean and comfortable pool made our time there very relaxing. The hotel is not on a beachfront, but there are beaches nearby that you can visit. If the beach is serviced (e.g., the beach at Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa or St. Jean), you can arrange to secure a space and have lunch, etc. Our favorite beach was Plage de Saline. It is not connected to a hotel, and therefore not serviced, but it's quiet, clean, and not overrun with boats and people like the aforementioned beaches. I would include Gouverneur Beach (also not serviced) as one that is nice but has boats and more people. By the way, if you visit Saline Beach, you'll need to borrow an umbrella(s) from the front desk and some towels -- not a big deal. Again, we had a car, so we didn't mind driving 10-15 minutes to get there. The other beaches are just as far or farther. For Saline and Gouverneur, you'll want to take bottles of water with you -- also provided by the front desk. Lastly, we felt the extra nightly rate one might spend at a beach hotel (having visited them) was not worth it. We preferred having Hotel Christopher as our base and exploring from there! We will be back!
