Rated 5 out of 5 by from Second time around another awesome experience Just returned from a three-night stay and was pleasantly surprised that Red Mountain had expanded activities, such as kayaking and paddle boarding, as well as horseback riding and biking. The spa services were excellent, the staff very forthcoming and friendly, and everyone we met was just awesome. I will certainly return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Loved it! Red Mountain turned out to be even better than we expected, and we expected it to be great! Can't beat the setting, breathtaking views every direction. I would definitely recommend doing the guided hike every morning, they start early but so worth it even if you're not a morning person like me. The guides are so knowledgeable, plus felt like a real adventure every day. I would also recommend the villa rooms over anything else, newer, larger and nicer looking than the rest of the accommodations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful setting, difficult heat. Scenery great.  Facilities nice. Food very good.  Activities aplenty, however, many are not included in price.  Staff are excellent.  It's not really a place to lose weight as the portions are mostly not controlled and you do not get any one-on-one help/assessments unless you pay extra.  Everything done outside is effected by the high temperatures - we could not stay hydrated.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty property...a little deserted! Lots of single women who seemed to be yapping about finding themselves...boring! My husband and I loved the deluxe villa that we stayed in...food in restaurant was appealing, but soooo on the hippie, healthy side....really? a little sign above the prunes stating "ok for purging"...really??? the greatest activity was the horseback ride arranged thru the concierge...amazing!!! Actually the spa was very nice...got couples massages and a pedicure...very pleased. Don't forget that August is a very HOT month...but discounts were in place...seems like everyone working is a little fake...why's that? Maybe just the time of year...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great grounds, food, hiking, service, but beware Beautiful and invigorating. 'Challenge' daily hike was fantastic as were regular classes. No need to pay for extra hikes/classes as the free ones are better than those we paid for. Unfortunately the puppy hike was cancelled at the last minute but presumably by the animal shelter, and a windy storm cut our paddleboarding outing quite short (we asked for a discount due to this at checkout and they obliged as this was a separate fee). Food was fantastic and they were very accommodating to vegan meal requests. Be careful as soft drinks and smoothies are not included in the prepaid meals. Reserved the King Villa Suite but never used the kitchen and living room so villa would have been fine- still has separate (and fantastic) jetted tub and rock shower, coffee maker, laundry, patio, etc. Free use of bikes is great and there are trails all over- no need to go with a group or pay for separate guided tours- just get a map and explore as there are bike paths everywhere and its very safe. They have an option for a flat gratuity fee per day, but don't make it clear that this doesn't cover additional services not included in package (which, again, I'd stick to the freebies next time anyway). Also, if flying into Vegas and planning on St. George shuttle, beware they charge an extra $25 per person to go from St. George to the resort, and we were packed in the back of an uncomfortable van for the trip, so would definitely rent a car and drive from Vegas next time. Can't wait to go back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal! Everything about the resort was fantastic. Attentive and helpful staff, excellent facilities and services, delicious healthful food, impeccably maintained, luxurious with being posh. Everything about the resort exceeding my high expectations and I was thrilled with the deal through Luxury Link. I hope to return annually to the resort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding resort Although it was over 100 degrees every day we still had a wonderful time. Highlight are the staff.  So helpful. Food is excellent. Beautiful pool at villa.  Room does not have a refrigerator - that would be very helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Resort/Beautiful Scenery The resort was everything I expected and more.  There was a gift from the resort congratulating us on our 25th anniversary.  Daily hikes are broken into 3 categories. We opted to start easy and advance from there.  All hiking guides, except for one, were great.  The scenery is spectacular.  I would advise if you do not have hiking shoes and plan to use athletic shoes to hike that you bring an extra pair.  One just for hikes and the other for other classes. The "red mountain dust" is quite prevalent. The food, while not spectacular, was certainly good. The Spa is above average, and the massages were great. If you are looking for an "active spa resort", RMR certainly fits the bill.  For something active but more tranquil you might prefer Lake Austin Spa.  We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future.

Rated out of 5 by from Last August my sister and I used my Luxury Link package to Red Mountain Spa in Saint George, Utah. The spa is all-inclusive and the hikes, classes, lectures, lessons and food are great. The food is healthy, fresh, well-prepared and delicious. The classes go non-stop all day so there is always something to do. We both had GREAT massages - inclusive with the package, a big perk there. -H. Lindauer
