I know it doesn't matter since this amazing place is closing its doors next month but I still wanted to write a review. I am so grateful for the opportunity to experience this special resort, meet wonderful people both staff & fellow guests and enjoy the breathtaking landscape of Southern Utah. Yes the resort is getting older but it has loads of charm that more than makes up for its age.

What a find! Was thinking we’d have to go to Sedona to find a resort like this, grateful we stumbled upon it on a visit to Snow Canyon State Park. Beautiful views, comfy beds, pools, hot tubs and cozy fires for S’mores. We were already planning our return when we learned they’ll be closing soon for a complete remodel. We’ll just have to wait.

We stayed three days and had a great time! We hiked, e-biked, kayaked, and enjoyed some great food both at the resort and in St. George. Our hiking guides Greg and Lynn were fun and informative. They gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Great low key hike. Our E-bike guide, Taunia, was exceptional! A lovely young woman with a great knowledge base of the area and an adorable personality. She made done great insights on hikes in area. Overall great resort!

I really really tried to make a reservation here. The staff is doing everything they can to not take my reservation. When I called last week, they said they don’t have any classes and that they might have some hikes. Do they or do they not have hikes? I went on the website and it says they have wellness classes, group hikes, blah blah blah. I wanted the old essential package I had a few years ago and it does say on the website with a very small * that they don’t have it anymore. And instead it says they have elevated escape and Summit packages but the website does not take you to those packages only a triple AAA discount or senior discount. So I called again today. April said we don’t have anything available for your dates, however, I had not even given her the dates I was traveling yet?! (she was unaware of those packages and had no idea what I was talking about ) April said she was working from home today and when she put me on hold to check on some dates, the phone went to voicemail. I would not stay here something’s going on and I have a feeling they will take your money & close up. They must be closing the resort the staff doesn’t know what’s going on.

This was meant to be a reasonably priced stopover between California and Zion National Park, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. The rooms were spacious, new and clean. The resort is surrounded by desert and just has a nice vibe going on. The main restaurant food was good and the service excellent; there was a nice take out spot on the property with grab and go. Would definitely stay here again.

Last August my sister and I used my Luxury Link package to Red Mountain Spa in Saint George, Utah. The spa is all-inclusive and the hikes, classes, lectures, lessons and food are great. The food is healthy, fresh, well-prepared and delicious. The classes go non-stop all day so there is always something to do. We both had GREAT massages - inclusive with the package, a big perk there.

At The Red Mountain Spa in Utah, we were changed to a villa upon request. They were extremely accommodating. It is a lovely setting with wonderful spa food.
