I have been to Red Mountain twice now. I love the hikes/walks, spa treatments, amazing gluten free food. I feel so incredibly nourished inside and out when I visit. I look forward to my next visit! I enjoy the different fitness classes as well.

We had a training for MELT and it was held at Rd Mountain Resort. The resort is beautifully situated in the serene red rock cliffs/mountains in St. George/Ivins Utah. The food was excellent catering to all needs. They have a plethora of activities to do included in the resort stay fees - including daily hikes, cycling, fitness, yoga, MELT, Pilates, meditation, drumming etc. They also offer adventurous canyoneering, kayaking, cycling etc. The staff are so friendly and attentive. I would come back here in a heartbeat. They have indoor and outdoor pools and plenty of hammocks and lawn chairs if you just want to chill. So many other services offered, luxury spa, spiritual healing, laybrinth, chakra and shaman.

We just came back from a girlfriend getaway from Thursday to Sunday and we stayed here- it was an amazing trip! The location is absolutely beautiful- we started with the program- "tai chi on the rocks" in Snow Canyon- Snow Canyon is magnificent! The tai chi was ok if you're into that, but we had a blast and the guide ended up taking us around snow canyon. I would definitely recommend doing yoga in Snow Canyon, or just biking there yourself- it's magical. We stayed in the villas and they were beautiful- really clean and large and comfortable. We chose a la carte, and the concierge was super accommodating- we missed a yoga class and they arranged another one for us even though it wasn't on the schedule- we did the yoga on the lava view lawn and it was spectacular- the views are magnificent and the instructor was great. The grounds are gorgeous- so many relaxing spots, the pools are really nice, and it was so quiet, we practically had the pool to ourselves. We went to Zion on our own (it's about an hour and 10 min drive)- it was beautiful. We also used their bikes and rode to Kayenta (an art village that was underwhelming- and the bike ride was long and tough in the heat). Just take the bikes and ride around, the views are stunning everywhere. Matt at the front desk was really nice and helpful (the lady not so much). Matt recommended we go to the Tuacahn Theater to see a show- it's an outdoor theater (with the red rocks behind it) with broadway style shows- we saw Mamma Mia and loved it! Highly recommended! The spa is really nice too, I had the red mountain revitalizer treatment which was absolutely heavenly. (there was a little hiccup in our spa booking- we made 2 appointments but they only had one down-double check to make sure your appointment is there when you get there!) If you're a la carte, you can do lots on your own (we did the paddle boarding on the lake on our own, which was really fun). Steve was really nice, he gave us a ride to the theater. We loved this resort and location- we had a combination of adventure and relaxation which was just amazing!
