This is the perfect place for singles, couples, friends, mother/daughters - basically anyone and everyone can find something wonderful at the Red Mountain Resort! The food was delicious and healthy (and the great cooking classes shared recipes and tips), the guided hikes were fantastic and the variety of activities outstanding with something for everyone. Guests can hang by the pool or spa all day or participate in activities or work out on their own in the fantastic gym or pool. I especially loved the yoga in snow canyon. And the staff was so friendly and engaging. We also enjoyed meeting lots of other guests. I will return!

In typical St George fashion the construction of the buildings on resort is terrible. Therefore even after asking for a villa + the living room and second bathroom we could hear EVERYTHING and our neighbors could hear us! Add all the bachelorette parties and it's noisy. For a place that inspires relaxation they have the wrong formula. So we left a day early and were still charged the full $3k for 2 really bad nights of sleep. Save your money avoid the inbred kooks and head to Enchantment Resort.

Red Mountain Resort is the perfect spa destination for active people. The facilities and staff are inviting and awesome. I highly recommend staying in one of the Villas. The guided hikes are amazing and the guides are fantastic. Various classes are included, and we greatly enjoyed MELT yoga, Pilates and Drums Alive! The food was equally healthy and delicious. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Ending each night of our stay with a massage or facial was the cherry on top. We highly recommend Red Mountain Resort.

Red mountain resort is not only a panacea for anything that ails you, but one of my favorite life experiences. I recently returned to RMR (my 10th visit) for a life reboot. Perfectly situated in the gorgeous red sandstone mountains of Ivins, Utah, this remarkable sprawling pet-friendly campus offers an all-inclusive package for singles and couples (families are less common but welcome). As an athletic guy, RMR provides everything I could imagine in terms of fitness and nutrition. On a typical day, I would wake up at six in the morning and meditate. Having signed up the previous day for an endurance hike, I would arrive at the dining hall for a hikers breakfast (hard-boiled eggs, grains, orange juice, espresso and an array of fresh fruit and yogurt). I would fill my Camelback with water and proceed to a Central meeting place. There I would join my guide and any other endurance hikers and set off on a two hour, heart pounding thrill hike through a variety of terrains (each one different depending on the day). We typically returned by 10:30, just in time for a gentle yoga or stretch class. Every vantage point of RMR is gorgeous and tranquil which means you get to savor the walk to and from all of the various facility locations. I would have a delicious buffet lunch around noon. Classes begin in the afternoon about 2:30 which gives you enough time to swim in one of three generous swimming pools (1 indoor). If you're ambitious, there are many back to back classes (TRX or HIIT or Barre or MMA or the less strenuous but thoroughly enjoyable drums alive). After that, it's naptime in the air conditioned room or out in a hammock. The executive chef is fantastic and every dinner was not only satisfying but nutritious and delicious. As RMR is all-inclusive, the only additional costs are for wine (and wine made cocktails), espresso drinks, special excursions, spa treatments, demonstrations, etc. Of particular note is the remarkably friendly and helpful staff. Clearly, hospitality is a priority here. Other all inclusive activities include a bike ride up Snow Canyon (which is challenging and beautiful) as well as a bike ride to the charming nearby town of Kayenta. I typically visit RMR for one week in either the fall or spring. But this trip, I decided I will come for two weeks on my next stay.
