The location is great and the setting is gorgeous. This was our 10th visit (me and one friend) to Red Mountain. The good: location, views, lots of activities to pick from during the day (although more and more are becoming fee-based), friendly staff and good food. Very accommodating in the restaurant relative to food selection, allergies, etc. Spa professionals are great. The disappointing: Booking directly was a challenges as they lost our reservation the first time my friend called, and then the second time they failed to run her CC and called back a few days later saying the reservation didn't go through becasue she didn't pay the deposit. Our room had many maintenance issues that we feel should have been noted by housekeeping and fixed prior to our check in (e.g., the screen door was off the track and didn't open/close and we had a flickering light that wouldn't turn off in our room for two nights even after asking for maintenance). The beds are worn and were a bit saggy in our room (so sad - at $400+ per night I expect a nice mattress), and we had massive cobwebs under our bench, just making it feel not clean. Our villa had a great view, however we were very close to the construction that the resort is doing (updating the check-in facility), so we didn't feel like we could enjoy the patio given the loud noise (think beeping and dump trucks...). Wish I had been told about the major construction as we would have come another time. Overall it's a nice place to come for vacation - obviously since we've come so many times. Just wishing with the steep increase in nightly rates over the years that more updating would have been done and fewer things would cost extra (like the hummus and cheese wrap with an apple that now costs $10 pp on the departure day...yikes). We may look around for other options for next year...thanks for the good run. Sad because this used to be such a treat.

I had to travel to Vegas for work and decided to take a little side trip for relaxation with my husband. I’m an avid hiker and I booked this before my husband broke his leg. We weren’t able to take advantage of any fun hikes, but the staff went out of their way to recommend ways for us to experience the beauty of the area without strenuous exercise. Great food and amazing Spa experience as well! We will definitely be coming back!

One of my best vacations ever! The resort is beautiful and the events, food and spa are high quality. And the views are amazing! First picture below when leaving the spa where I enjoyed treatments every day. The second picture is from my room. This is Inspiration Trail and there is a Spiral (learned difference of this and a labyrinth) and medicine wheel. I will go back.

Small resort in the mountains of Utah. Resort team was very welcoming. The resort was very, very, quite - but it was early January. Very basis bedroom and a bit tired in terms of fixtures and fittings. Small restaurant provided good food. Although it was uncharacteristically raining very hard, the road through Snow Canyon State Park was spectacular.

I waited almost 20 years to visit Red Mountain and it was worth the wait. My daughter and I spent 5 days there and enjoyed every moment. We hiked, rock climbed, rappelled and relaxed! We tried new adventures and mixed in some very relaxing spa treatments. It was an amazing trip.
