I just returned from my stay at the Red Mountain Resort and truly can't stop raving about it. Everything from the spa treatments, to the food, to the people working there were exceptional and it doesn't hurt that you are surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery that exists in our country. The thing I enjoyed the most was the food. It was extremely well-portioned and DELICIOUS. I am a vegetarian and ordered the tofu steak every single night (trying to figure out how to make it), my brother enjoyed the meat entrees and the desserts were phenomenal. You didn't feel guilty after eating because of the proper portion size but also because you spent your day hiking (we did the explorer version and found it to be NOT easy but also not difficult), walking the inspiration trail or doing a workout class. After eating and moving we also got to indulge in the spa which was phenomenal. My favorite treatment I was received was a salt scrub by Peggy. She was so kind and made me feel comfortable with this very new-to-me treatment and by the end of it my skin was as smooth as a baby! My only con would be the accommodations as I do believe they could use some updating. They certainly were not bad by any means but just a bit dated. Also, my brother and I were a little shocked by the open air bathroom but just chose to use the shower while the other was doing an activity. I am not a vacation person as I love to be home but this is definitely a place I will go back to!

Please see my other Red Mountain reviews for more info. As always, I love Red Mountain. Allows me to reset and rest, but also push myself to try something new. This was my fifth visit. Great daily hiking (I tried a challenge hike for the first time and did just fine thank you!) Other favorites include biking to Kayenta, Drums Alive class, Hydro class, Chiball stretch and morning stretch classes. Kristin in the Wellness Center is one of my favorite people, I love touching base with her each visit. Tiffany is a wonderful massage therapist and Sergio ran a great personal training session for me. Dragonfly solo rooms are beautiful, large and comfortable. Food is always very good and I enjoy the community tables so much! Perfect resort for solo travelers.

Hiking was top notch, food was fantastic, my facial was great- I'll go back for sure. It was pretty cost effective too. I would suggest more activities to do during the day. And I had 2 guides that were somewhat negative... but all the others were above and beyond awesome.

A beautiful resort that offers all that one could want for relaxation and peace. The facility was excellent and the food was superb. I went with a large group of women and we bonded, laughed and shared a great experience. The hiking staff were especially impressive. Leading us out into beautiful views and challenging hikes.
