Went to Red Mountain Resort for the first time with my significant other for a three night stay in May 2017. Had beautiful weather, not cold, not too hot. Meals were consistently great, breakfast, lunch and dinner. First night got to experience a thunderstorm inn the desert. Unfortunately, we were not able to go on the moonlight walk in Snow Canyon. Went on the explorer walk the next day and go to experience Snow Canyon with clouds. Loved the cooking class including sampling the 3 course meal. Got to learn about the Mustangs in the afternoon including getting them to accept your leadership. We didn't know that they were brought by the Spaniards from North Africa to the southwest. Went cliff rappelling in the Mohave Desert for the first time. Learned that you are required to go down each time and then find a way back up. Didn't think a 65 year old would enjoy doing this. Went to Zion National Park the next day. Each day in Zion can be a completely different experience. Went to Echo Canyon, Emerald Pools and walk near the visitor center. In evening, went on walk in Snow Canyon and went into large lava tube. Incredible coming out and seeing the bats searching for insects. Next day went on two separate walks looks at Native American Art. Afternoon walk was a solo walk and learned much from the many lectures by Dr. Boma Johnson who led me to 5 separate cliff sites along the river. Got to see wood rat (Pack Rat) and rarely seen Chuckwalla (only lizard in US from iguana family). My partner rested and had massages, and went swimming while I was on the excursions. Saw very large bullfrog laying on grass outside room in the evening.

This is the perfect place for singles, couples, friends, mother/daughters - basically anyone and everyone can find something wonderful at the Red Mountain Resort! The food was delicious and healthy (and the great cooking classes shared recipes and tips), the guided hikes were fantastic and the variety of activities outstanding with something for everyone. Guests can hang by the pool or spa all day or participate in activities or work out on their own in the fantastic gym or pool. I especially loved the yoga in snow canyon. And the staff was so friendly and engaging. We also enjoyed meeting lots of other guests. I will return!

In typical St George fashion the construction of the buildings on resort is terrible. Therefore even after asking for a villa + the living room and second bathroom we could hear EVERYTHING and our neighbors could hear us! Add all the bachelorette parties and it's noisy. For a place that inspires relaxation they have the wrong formula. So we left a day early and were still charged the full $3k for 2 really bad nights of sleep. Save your money avoid the inbred kooks and head to Enchantment Resort.

Red Mountain Resort is the perfect spa destination for active people. The facilities and staff are inviting and awesome. I highly recommend staying in one of the Villas. The guided hikes are amazing and the guides are fantastic. Various classes are included, and we greatly enjoyed MELT yoga, Pilates and Drums Alive! The food was equally healthy and delicious. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Ending each night of our stay with a massage or facial was the cherry on top. We highly recommend Red Mountain Resort.
