Overall this is a wonderful place to stay! Great service, everyone is friendly and helpful, and the offerings are too numerous to list. We loved our spa day, and our meals, and the servers at dinner. The check-in experience was easy and personal. I highly recommend coming here, for a night or for 7. That said…. It’s a little strange arriving via white arrows in the parking lot. The main gate is closed, and the reception center is under renovation, so you go to a temporary building. That all fine. But it’s not welcoming. First impression is industrial. However, all of that goes away quickly when you get into the flow. We had a wonderful lunch, celebrating St. Patricks’ Day, then entered the spa. Another reviewer nailed it… right out of Star Wars. But the service is great. We loved Trish and Jen in the nail area, and the facials were wonderful with Mikela (spelling). All great. Spa needs a new space but that’s fine. Service was great. Our room was fine. Downstairs, view of a stairway. But who cares, we were only there for a night. The bed, etc was top notch. Dinner was the highlight. We sat at the bar, Joey, Bailey, and Jake took great care of us. I can’t remember a better service experience and they were all attentive and fun. Good enthusiasm and great recommendations. One of the coolest things is you can switch your protein between the different set ups. For example the strip loin was served with brown rice quinoa. I was in the mood for greens. The quail comes with sautéed kale and some other items. So they encouraged me to switch the set up. Put the strip loin with the quail sides. Totally unique and delicious. Loved the flexibility. The Outfitter store on site is wonderful. Great selections of outerwear, shoes, etc. Super staff. Worth a few minutes and few dollars. Excellent. There is a text message service with IVY who is guest services. Any questions or needs are addressed immediately so you don’t need to trek to the main office. And our check in with Alexa was amazing. She ran our keys to us after the spa; thoughtful, and honestly just the right extra service to know this is a great place where you come first. So, we loved it all and would definitely come back. Just took a few minutes to adjust. Wish we had time to take a Dan Becker Class, especially photography. Great asset to the lodge!

I have been coming to Sagestone for about 10 years. I Brought myself and 5 of my friends to get the Soul day package for a bridal shower. When we got there, check in was a disaster. The girls checking us in were very confused, and said my card didnt go through, but my AMEX texts me whenever my card id used, so I showed her it had went through. That night at 10:00 PM, I get a phone call that woke up myself and my 3 year old daughter, stating that my card didnt go through. I didnt answer on the first call, because it was 10:00 PM, so they called again-cause you know, this isnt something that can wait until the next morning? Well in between there, they called someone else in my group asking them to pay for my massage. UM WHAT!? How embarrassing is that?! Well my friend didnt know what to do, so she said yeah just charge my card. So she calls me to tell me what happened. I then call Sagestone back and tell them no, its still pending on my card. Long story short, here it is Monday morning, it posted to my account so I had to call them AGAIN to get them to refund my friend who they shouldnt have called in the first place. Well, now another friend from our group was called and they accidentally refunded her instead of the girl they called to pay for mine -_- SERIOUSLY?! What a freaking disaster! Spas are supposed to be relaxing, not a 3 day fiasco of running funds around because Sagestone doesnt know what they are doing! After coming at least 2x a year for the last 10 years with my mom and my friends, I think Ill start looking for somewhere else to go!

It’s my second time here and I enjoyed it more this time. affordable for a spa resort. Food is really good, the newer rooms(suites) are huge and really nice! Hikes are awesome! They could use more classes in the afternoon. they do charge for some activities, classes and drinks so check.
