Stayed in the dragonfly solo - comfy and well maintained. And the bed was wonderfully soft after all those hikes and classes! I'm a solo female traveler and learned that maybe half of the other people staying here were too! I came for the daily hikes (morning and sunset hikes both highly recommended) but the classes and gym were lovely too. And the food is spectacular! I'm used to traveling solo but understand from many of the other solos here that it's as comfortable for a first-time solo traveler as one who does it a lot. Just book! You won't regret it!! Can't recommend it highly enough and can't wait to come back.

Wow! I rented a 2-bedroom villa which was one of the most beautiful lodgings I've ever stayed in. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, kitchen, dining area, fireplaces in all rooms, large balcony overlooking the pool. The fitness center is amazing: new equipment, clean, plenty of room. Also, they have classes all day long: MELT, pilates, yoga, TRX, etc... There are also spiritual programs as well as acupuncture, etc... The Spa is lovely. They offer a lot of options: body work, facials, wraps, etc... They have a quiet, comfortable waiting area. Their changing area has a steam room that will help keep your sinuses open in this very dry climate of SW Utah. This place has it all. It's set against a wall of red rock with black lava leading up to it. There are daily hiking options in the morning: bring sunscreen and a good hat if you go in the summer like I did. There are also lots of other events you can participate in if you want to spend a bit more money: kayaking, hikes in Bryce Canyon (beautiful!) and Zion for example. Don't miss walking the Labrynth off Inspiration Trail! And watch for all the wildlife around you: quail, small bunnies, hummingbirds to name a few. Oh my goodness, I almost forgot to mention the food - again, the word amazing comes to mind. The food it really yummy and nutritious. You can eat super healthy OR you can have a bottle of fine wine and yummy dessert. Your choice! I was on the Essentials Plus option for 4 days and I loved it. You could also cook in the villa and do a la carte options for food or spa. The service was top notch throughout my stay. I can't recommend this resort enough. I went with a friend and it was great but it would also be very romantic as a couple!

If you're looking for a place to recharge your batteries - this is the place. Everything at RMR is done perfectly. The staff, activities, food, spa, and facilities are all amazing. And oh that view! You really need to stay for a minimum of three days to get a feel for the resort (we stayed 5 nights which felt right), but some people stay for weeks and it is not uncommon to meet fellow guests who return every year. The morning hikes are a MUST and explore Snow Canon which is a real treasure. We also added on a trip to Zion which was very well organized and a great experience. Even during the hottest week of the year (over 100 every day), it was never an issue. During the mid afternoon you can sit by the pool under a mister, get a spa treatment, take a class -- or a nap! It's hard to think of anything really to improve on, but perhaps add in exercise classes which a bit more intensive. Most are pretty gentle and restorative. Overall, we give the resort an A+ and plan to return to again to our new favorite "happy place".

This was my first and long awaited trip to Red Mountain! Upon arriving I immediately felt at home. The staff, from the gentleman who provided transportation from the airport, to the front desk, to the servers in the restaurant, I felt welcomed and valued. My room was very nice, although I didn't spend much time there. The grounds were beautiful with calming water features and numerous hammocks. Meals were tasty and ambiance of the restaurant was laid back but elegant. Loved all the workouts I participated in, with Yoga in Snow Canyon being my favorite. Hikes were great with knowledgeable and energetic leaders. It was most decadent to have a spa treatment every day and my people were friendly and skilled. The atmosphere was one of serenity, but at the same time a great energy.Everything is warm and inviting, an understated elegance. I was able to both completely relax and charge up the batteries. I came home and immediately started saving for my next trip!

I was looking for a place to travel by myself while I was between jobs. It is a lovely resort with a lot of fitness activities for all levels. The food was delicious. There were people from all walks of life and I enjoyed getting to know them at the community table. The spa was needed after a long day of exercise. This is a great place for solo travelers or girl trips. I saw a few couples but most of the traveled were women. Study the agenda before you come and make reservations ahead for classes.
