I came here to unplug, recharge and give myself some TLC and this resort, their staff, the activities, the spa and the healthy and delicious food combined with the surroundings and landscape did not disappoint.

Red Mountain Spa is the perfect place to put the world on hold for a few days. The red rock formations that surround the resort have the effect of keeping the world at bay while you relax, hike, workout, sleep, stretch, and are cared for by the wonderful staff. We have been to the spa a total of 7 times and although the buildings are older and could use a little updating( thus the 4 star rating) the beds are comfy, rooms are clean and the food is healthy, plentiful and absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and very willing to do anything to make your stay a special one.

Spent 4 nights here in September with my husband. The grounds are well-maintained and the scenery is great. The proximity to Snow Canyon is awesome for adventuring out on your own. We flew into Vegas and rented a car. It was an easy drive over. Pros: *I told them ahead of time we were celebrating our anniversary and when we got to our room we had a nice card and a copy of the resort cookbook waiting for us as a gift. *Fitness class options are great. I did Yoga, Barre and an arms class. All with excellent instructors. *Photography snapshot walk with an accomplished photographer was a treat. *Spa - I had the reflexology treatment and it was awesome and worth every penny! *Room, not amazing - But did have a fridge, good lightening, soaking tub, robes and strong water pressure. Plus the toliet was in a room by itself with a fan, great if traveling with others and you want some privacy. *Views - Just waking up to amazing scenery does wonders for your soul. *Labels on breakfast and lunch food made it really easy to know what was dairy-free, vegan and gluten-free. Being allergic to dairy, I was SO pleased to find this! Cons: *Price. Let's face it is is not cheap. And since we arrived really late the day we checked in I felt like I paid a whole lot for a day I didn't take advantage of any of the activities or any meals. If I came again I'd arrive as early as possible on check-in day. *Zion trip was great, guides were good and we were glad we did the Zion hike, but next time we'd hike on our own and save the $. *Time windows for meals. Fitting dinner in with all the activities we wanted to do was a challenge. And dinner was good, so we didn't want to miss. We would definitely return and I would stay longer so I could try more things.

I have been to the resort 4 times and plan to keep going in the future. Each time I have had the same amazing experience and come back to reality relaxed and refreshed. The daily guided hikes are worth the trip alone. The guides are not only there to ensure your safety, but they are very knowledgeable about the area and I learn something new on every hike. They are all so nice and just a joy to hike with each day. The staff at the fitness center is accommodating and want you to have the best experience you can and get the most out of the their classes. The spa services are truly amazing with a wide variety of options with the nicest and most professional staff. Whether you want to workout all day, spend your time in nature, or swinging in a hammock under a tree, Red Mountain Resort will meet your need.

If you need to break away from everything, this is a safe environment for women on their own. I loved all the classes and hikes! The spa package is a great addition, but it is difficult to fit it all in and make it to dinner during the narrow window they offer for dinner. I discovered I can breathe again!
