This was my first holiday with my family in Grenada. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and especially by our friends Bernardo and his wondeful wife Wendy. They took care of our every need. We were shown to our beautiful villa which had a breathtaking view of the ocean. Indonesian inspired bed, furnishings and an incredible swimming pool on the terrace. The staff, entertainment, food and drinks were perfect, and the hotel itself is simply stunning. The restaurant serves excellent Italian food with a tropical twist. Everything here is styled around the theme of Indonesia. The SPA and the balinese therapists really do make you feel like you are in Bali. I'd highly recommend anyone to stay at La Luna, We had the holiday of a lifetime and were treated like royalty. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer.

We arrived to a stunning view of the ocean, a cocktail, and a warm welcome. Laluna is a small secluded getaway with a gorgeous beach. Rum punches were yummy and our hostess Tracy is really lovely. Such a great getaway!

My husband and I traveled to Grenada and Laluna for a long 4 night getaway weekend. We had an idyllic time at Laluna and our expectations were surpassed. The location is very beautiful and private with a garden of Eden feel. It is truly perfect for a romantic getaway! We ate almost every breakfast and dinner at the resort and were very impressed with the taste, presentation and friendly service. We had balinese massages at the spa and the practitioners were excellent. The spa really does make you feel like you are in Bali with the beautiful wood carved doors, decor and the balinese therapists. We had morning yoga nearly every day and the instructors were top quality and the yoga pavilion overlooking the ocean is truly beautiful. We considered two other options on or near Grande Anse for our stay (including the 5 star one) and we visited those places on the trip, but we were so glad we chose Laluna because of the privacy of the location (with still being close to Grande Anse) and the boutique quality of the resort. The cottage suite we stayed in was romantic and comfortable and one of our favorite things was just relaxing on the porch and taking in the ocean and garden views. I wholeheartedly recommend Laluna!

Unique is an over-rated adjective but it definitely applies to La Luna. The combination of location, ambiance and relaxed attitude sets it apart. Add to that cheerful staff, a good restaurant and simple elegant well appointed rooms make guests return like we did.

My girlfriend and I spent two nights in Villa 2, and while the villa itself was great, the check-in process was an absolute disaster. I booked our stay via Hotels.com, but when we tried to check in Saturday afternoon, whoever the shift manager was (I don't remember his name) did not allow us to, because apparently the rate I booked was not the rate Laluna claimed it should be. While I understand the dilemma from the hotel's perspective, the employees were rude and made us feel unwelcome. They made us wait in the rain for 2 hours while they tried to resolve the issue with Hotels.com. They also had me spend an hour on the phone with Hotels.com (on an international call from my cell phone that will cost me a lot of money). The price discrepancy issue is between the hotel and Hotels.com. As a customer, I should not be forced to wait to check in or to resolve the issue myself. None of the staff even apologized. Additionally, upon checkout, we were asked to return to the villa so someone could inspect it (so that we could receive our $3000 deposit back). That is a first for me. Usually, the hotel inspects the room and contacts you if there are any issues. We went back up to the villa and waited for an hour, but no one arrived. We had to leave at that point so we returned to the checkout desk to inform them. Again, no one apologized. Never have I received such poor customer service from employees of a hotel. My girlfriend and I were extremely disappointed.
