Laluna

My wife and I visited for about a week at the beginning of October. We loved every second of our stay! The rooms are great and I loved the private plunge pool, the beach and water were fantastic, we spent a lot of time on the covered loungers by the water swimming, kayaking and snorkeling, we could not have asked for a better location or set up to enjoy the view and ocean. The restaurant consistently produced great meals from breakfast through dinner, with huge portion sizes. The staff were there to help in any way they could from making drinks to calling a cab and making reservations at restaurants. Which you need for just about any restaurant except the resorts. October seamed slow for tourism in general and so there were times I felt like we were the only guests staying there, the layout and amenities of LaLuna lend themselves to that. It was easy to find a cozy lounger on the beach away from everything or seclude ourselves on the large covered deck/plunge pool at the room. The only warning ill give is about the step, the resort is on the side of a hill, they are plenty safe but there are a few depending on the rooms location. We probably could have asked for a golf cart ride from close to the room to the reception area, but the resort had me feeling invigorated enough to make the trek as needed and really wasn't that bad, I needed a way to work off the drinks and food anyway. All that said, I will highly recommend this resort for a 100 reasons I have failed to even mention, we had a truly relaxing stay. While I generally try to find new places to visit on vacation, my wife and I agree that we will go back and stay again.

A stunning hotel with incredible service and wonderful people. The staff and owner welcomed my husband and me with so much warmth, love, and care. We had an excellent stay from beginning to end, and the food was absolutely incredible. We truly felt at home and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I rarely write a review about anything, but I’m compelled to write something about Laluna. We booked four nights at the laluna villa with the family (5). This was an out of this world experience. Everything was amazing, the scenery, the view, the service, the people, the cleanness of the rooms, and on and on, I could write a poem about it. The owner and the facility manager not only make you welcomed and appreciated, but also they give you the feeling that you own the place. They helped us to arrange all the excursions and whenever we needed something in the rooms it was brought to us within seconds. I could not ask for a better vacation!

Laluna's location is stunning. The cabanas are situated on a lush hillside overlooking the sea. The restaurant, pool and lounge area are on the beach, which is white sand, Caribbean blue sea, fringed with coconut trees. We loved the decor and vibe, the use of wood, bamboo, and other natural materials. Our cabana was spacious, attractive, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the outdoor shower offering sea views, yet privacy. The private plunge pool was a treat. The only sound was that of the birds and the sea. The restaurant serves delicious Italian food, our favourite. We savoured every meal. The service was friendly, attentive and professional. We enjoyed the ammenities included, Yoga at the beach pavillion, kayaking, and gym. I felt like I was surrounded by beauty, from the architecture and decor to the sculpture garden and the setting. Its a wonderful place to unplug, relax and reconnect with nature and your partner.

Laluna was pure magic! That includes the people, accommodations, spa, beach, food, drinks, and I could go on and on! We enjoyed our week in paradise so much. If you are looking for a truly unique experience, look no further!!!
