Came for the day and did my first ever meditation in person led by Taylor which was really rewarding and would highly recommend for those wanting to switch off and reconnect. Beautiful setting and lovely paced class!!

My family has been talking about our stay at Mount Cinnamon since departing after 6 beautiful days! From our rum punch greeting, to breakfast on the terrace, the calm, idyllic beach, phenomenal dinners with live piano music, games for our little one and top tier support from the whole team - we all loved our stay. The villa was private, quiet and perfectly situated for traveling with a family. We were hoping for kids club but the timing didnt line up so the front desk supported with scheduling a tennis and swim lesson for our little one. Lunch at the beachfront restaurant was a favorite for us all, and the drinks and dj made it difficult to leave. Plus there are all sorts of games and a great gym down by the waterfront. The atmosphere waswelcoming and relaxing, with something for everyone!

The Vibe: Decades ago, I lived at Cinnamon Hill while working to upgrade a local TV station. Returning to what is now Mount Cinnamon, I was worried the magic might have faded. I was wrong. It’s better. The new leadership (a fellow former journalist!) has transformed this into more than a "home away from home"—it’s a soulful retreat. The Highlights: The Ritual: Nothing beats the "tonic" of an early morning walk along Grand Anse beach followed by a swim. The view across the bay remains spectacular at any hour. The Food: Authentic Caribbean "home-cooked" flavors but with a sophisticated resort twist. Every meal felt personal and exciting. The "Heartware": The staff here set an impossibly high bar. A gardener saw me struggling with a suitcase and rushed to my rescue. The front desk made me feel like the only guest in the room, even during a busy check-in. The restaurant staff were literal lifesavers (even when I fell flat on my face admiring the service!). The Verdict: As a journalist, I’m trained to be objective and avoid bias. The truth is simple: whether you are here for a conference or a getaway, you will be treated like family. Head to the Spice Isle and stay at Mount Cinnamon. You’ll be home.

We visited Grenada for 10 days and only spent 6 nights here, we regretted not spending the rest of our trip here! The cinnamon suite views are out of this world, yes there is a steep hill up to the room but you don’t get views like that without a hill and you can always ask reception to get one of the vans to take you up. I enjoyed getting the exercise in. The breakfast included was lovely, nice to have a buffet and an à la carte item included. I also love the simplicity of ordering eggs (soft, medium or hard). The staff work so hard, they are there from morning until night and are always happy. Sometimes the restaurants could be understaffed at breakfast and lunch so service could be a bit slower but it was never a problem for us. Grand Anse beach is just stunning and lovely to walk up and down, the sea is beautiful to swim in too, you can even see some fish. The beach bar did some nice lunches and cocktails but you can also walk up to umbrellas for good food and cocktails. 61 degrees west is another nice restaurant a bit further up the beach. I’d recommend walking over to BBC beach, it’s a short walk and there is a restaurant and a beach bar but the beach is beautiful and quiet (except for when the cruise ship excursions come in). Dinner in the hotel was good and room service was good too. The only downside of the hotel was ordering a birthday surprise for the room before we arrived and it not being there but it was quickly rectified. They also offered a taxi to come and collect us from the airport that didn’t show up but we just jumped in a taxi for $25 so it wasn’t anything worth complaining about. For excursions, I highly recommend Grand Etang. The waterfalls, monkeys, views of the island were just beautiful! We went to sails for dinner and it was nice to get out but not sure if I would recommend. Choose amount Cinnamon & you won’t regret it!

We just had our 4th trip to Mount Cinnamon, which gets better every time. It is increasingly difficult to find places like this — a luxury experience in a property with real character. The perfect scale, nestled in an authentic Caribbean community, on the quiet end of the best beach in the world. The new owner has taken Mount Cinnamon to an even higher level with a super nice gym, updated restaurant, and daily programming. The real highlight to me is the staff — helpful, friendly, and genuine. We have so many friends at the resort at this point and can't wait to go back.

“Mount Cinnamon located in St.Georges, Grenada is a lovely & charming hillside property with magnificent views of turquoise water and ivory sand. The most picturesque harbor is the daily backdrop. Staffed with attentive and friendly folks that seem more like family then employees. The villas are tastefully decorated and roomy. The food was scrumptious! The only down side - because of the hillside location - it is ideal to be in good physical shape. For us, we used the "climb" to our room as our excuse for not using the gym!"
