I spent my very first trip to Grenada at Mount Cinnamon Resort, and it became so much more than a vacation — it became part of a deeply personal, transformational moment in my life. I traveled for my annual birthday retreat with the intention to unpack, unwind, relax, and reconnect, and after doing extensive research, I kept coming back to this resort. Something about it kept calling me — and now I know exactly why. Arrival & First Impressions As a solo female traveler, safety, comfort, and genuine care matter. From the moment I landed, the arranged airport transfer made everything seamless. When I arrived at the resort and saw it in person, I immediately felt a sense of ease. The photos online don’t oversell it — the resort truly looks exactly like the pictures, yet somehow feels even more serene in person. Mount Cinnamon sits beautifully on the hillside, surrounded by lush tropical plants, vibrant flowers, and the natural soundtrack of Grenada — birds, tree frogs, and the gentle breeze. The landscaping is absolutely immaculate. You can tell the grounds team takes pride in every detail. The Staff — Truly Exceptional Every single staff member was warm, intentional, and welcoming. • Mariah checked me in and made me feel at home from the very first moment up until I departed. • Sabrina at breakfast greeted me with a smile every morning — she remembered that I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese daily and made each morning feel special. • Daniele was incredibly attentive and such a joy to talk to — especially with our names being so similar! • The security team was present but discreet, giving me complete peace of mind while never disrupting the peacefulness of the resort. The staff addressed me by name throughout my stay — such a thoughtful touch that made me feel seen and cared for. My Room & Amenities My room view was breathtaking — the type of view that immediately grounds you. Housekeeping provided turndown service, and everything was spotless. The overall cleanliness and care for the space were unmatched. One of the best features is the private access to Grand Anse Beach. On my very first day, I took a sunset walk along the shore, and it became one of my favorite memories. The proximity to the beach is truly a top perk. Food, Relaxation & Island Experience Every breakfast outdoors felt magical — surrounded by nature, birds all around, and fresh island air. The food at the resort was delicious, and the beach barbecue and bonfire night was one of the highlights of my stay. Great music, great food, and even better energy. The resort also works closely with Chris with Chris Taxi Service, and I couldn’t have asked for a better driver and tour guide. Chris took me on a full impromptu island tour on Saturday, sharing history, culture, and stories about Grenada with so much pride. He made my trip even more meaningful. A Space Filled With Care & Intention One of the most beautiful parts of Mount Cinnamon is how intentional the environment is. Every plant, every flower, every path feels curated and lovingly maintained. Watching the landscaping team work with such precision and joy reminded me that this is more than a resort — it’s a sanctuary. During my beach day, the team prepared my space for me with ease and care, adding to how special the entire stay felt. I was able to order lunch and drinks at the Cabana! Final Thoughts It has been almost a month since my trip, and I still think about Mount Cinnamon with deep gratitude. This resort became a backdrop for a very important chapter in my life. It was peaceful, safe, beautiful, and full of kind people who made my experience unforgettable. To the entire Mount Cinnamon team — thank you for being part of something so meaningful in my journey. I will always cherish the memories I made here, and I cannot wait to return!

My boyfriend and I had the most magical time at Mt. Cinnamon. I’ve truly never been treated better. It was my first time traveling out of the country, and even though I was nervous, I felt so safe and cared for the entire trip. I want to give a few special shoutouts: Danielle was incredible—so kind and always checking in. Lincoln made the absolute best drinks, and Maikyah greeted us with the warmest energy every single day. Thank you again for giving us the best week of our entire year. ❤️

The hotel property is lovely, and the staff was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable. (Special shout-out to Markiyah, who took such good care of us!) There are several restaurants within walking distance (if you can manage the hills!) but the staff was also happy to give us a lift. The views from the room look out onto spectacular waters and hills—a stunning Caribbean vista!

What a beautiful property! My husband and I had been planning a trip to Grenada since Hurricane Ivan hit in 2004 - we finally got there. If you like being nestled in a garden atmosphere on a hillside with spectacular ocean views from your villa's veranda, this is the place. Clean, well kept, wonderful food - seriously good food, local breakfast option every day along with fresh catch of the day, etc. Big up to the chefs. Friendly and caring customer service - Rondell, Cecille, Laura, Maya, Felicia, Keyon, Richie our taxi man, the beach staff, everyone. Beach at Mt. Cinnamon is beautiful, shade available, Savvy's beach cabana right there for lunch. Grenada is a lush and beautiful place to visit, so much to see and do, you need more than one week. Advice - rent a car IF you are comfortable with lots of winding hills, narrow roads, driving on the left. We did it, might not do it next time. Plenty of tours and other transportation around the island. Whatever you decide, do explore Grenada and open yourself up to her culture and her people - they are amazing, friendly, helpful. Thanks again to Mt. Cinnamon and staff for making our 25th anniversary one that will provide us with many great memories.

Just returned from the most amazing 10 days at Mount Cinnamon Beach and Wellness Resort situated on Grand Anse Beach, Grenada. Our room was a Cinnamon Suite with one of the best views we've ever had from a hotel bedroom, the full expanse of the glorious Grand Anse beach stretching right round to the capital, St George's. The hotel is fabulously sutuated just a short walk from the beach through a beautiful tropical garden, The beach area is surrounded by palm trees with golden sand and the turquiose carribean sea, absolute paradise. Laura and her team provide exemplary customer service, everyone is so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Everywhere is spotlessly clean with the Flying Fish Restaurant and beach side Savvys offering a superb a la carte menu and great selection of drinks and cocktails. We would definately stay here again and I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing, luxury experience in a quite corner of one of the best beaches in the carribean.

“Mount Cinnamon located in St.Georges, Grenada is a lovely & charming hillside property with magnificent views of turquoise water and ivory sand. The most picturesque harbor is the daily backdrop. Staffed with attentive and friendly folks that seem more like family then employees. The villas are tastefully decorated and roomy. The food was scrumptious! The only down side - because of the hillside location - it is ideal to be in good physical shape. For us, we used the "climb" to our room as our excuse for not using the gym!"
